First of all, the hotel staff is very friendly, very helpfull and when leaving we felt like we leaving true friends! Thanks all of Hotel Aspromonte staff! For warm welcome and farewell, for clearness, for correct advices and real support in case of lost bagage finding ))))) Actually, it is much more than anyone can get for monye!. Excellent location close to plenty of shops, bars and bout a 20 minute walk to the Duomo. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, also very happy to help out when we needed to find a good pizza!.
all reviews » this is a really nice hotel and not that far from the city centre - about four stops by metro to the cathedral. comfy and cosy. looked like it had a nice garden too. The staff were so helpful, helping us find places to go out for meals and even helping me speak some Italian! Although their English was superb!. I thought the staff were very friendly, the hotel was really clean and great value for money, nice breakfast and good location. Very friendly owner. Very kindly staff and a good service. Central location to go visit Milan, also nearest the Metro station. Very good, beauty room. it's near to down town and the staff is great,very friendly and helpfull. They serve real coffee from the coffee machine here, not the undrinkable stuff you usually find poured from the pot. Other than that the breakfast is poor, but you can find the usual minimum available. Hey, you can't expect to live in a palazzio for that money so close to the city center. In the last day heating was off, and the water couldn't get much hot, at least not hot enough to have a shower. Also the breakfast near 10 o'clock missed lots of stuff.noise, uncomfortable bed. the rooms are old and needs renovation. The price was very high for this room.Breakfast could have been with larger variety, sound isolation between rooms was not good. the heating installation does not function well therefore our room was cold,. The room was cold and very dirty, especially the bathroom and bed. Location not very desirable. No kitchen facilities and few local restaurants so need to travel for dinner, also means that the breakfasts are minimal.Walls are really thin-it´s not possible to sleep without earplugs. There was mould on bathroom ceiling at the first floor room.

By plane
From Milan Linate Airport
take the shuttle up to Central Station and then take tram 33 for 9 stops (10 minutes). Get off at Piazza Aspromonte: Hotel Aspromonte is 50 meters away.
Or take bus number 73 up to San Babila (end of line) and then red metro 1 to Sesto for 4 stops. Get off at Loreto and exit in Viale Abruzzi. Continue for 70 meters and turn left on Via Pecchio, continue for 200 meters until you come to Piazza Aspromonte. You have arrived, Hotel Aspromonte is at number 12.

From Milan Malpensa Airport
Treno Malpensa Express up to Cadorna Station and then green metro 2 towards Cologno – Gessate for 7 stops. Get off at Loreto and continue directions as above.

By train
From Central Station take tram 33 and get off after 9 stops (10 minutes) in Piazza Aspromonte, Hotel Aspromonte is at 50 meters from the stop, or else take green metro 2 towards Cologno – Gessate for 2 stops. Get off at Loreto and exit in Viale Abruzzi. Continue for 70 meters and turn left on Via Pecchio, continue for 200 meters until you come to Piazza Aspromonte. By car
From the highways, pass the booth tolls, take the Ring road and exit on Lambrate. Continue for the Center along Via Porpora, after 900 meters turn left on Viale Lombardia. Continue to Piazza Piola and then turn right on Viale Gran Sasso and then again on the third on the right at Via Filippino Lippi. After 200 meters you will arrive at Piazza Aspromonte, the Hotel is at number 12.
