  This is a great place to stay. It was very easy to get to and has a beautiful view of Venice. Giudecca is very peaceful, which provides a nice break from the crowds. If you open a window or door, your a/c shuts off. They can see which window you have open from their computer in the reception area. Also the hotel is away from the busy tourist 'hot spots' (Rialto / St Marks) whilst remaining in easy reach by foot or vaporetto.
