The location of the hotel was great. It was minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge, all the cafes and restorantes, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff, cleanliness, proximity to shopping streets and Piazzale Rome. Walking took some 20 mins odd with heavy luggage. Though in the interior streets the location is just very good for budget travellers. Especially this guy called Harry at the reception was too helpful. He picked us up from the streets when we were lost in venice at late midnight

Great location. Quiet yet so close to main area. Easy to get to with instructions initially. Can walk to Rialto, Station and San Marco. Lots of ristorante nearby. Our room was very comfortable & shared bathroom was clean with great water pressure! We could also leave our bags on last day after check out & come back for them. Really appreciated this

I was initially a Venice sceptic but the magic of the place, and in particular this modern hotel, made it truly phenomenal.

We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but

The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.
