  A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Five minutes walk to all the main sites. Easy to find (although it is on the fourth storey above the shops). Beautiful inside and spotlessly clean. My wife and I agree that this was one ofour finest hotel stays in 40 years of travelling. The facility isabsolutely outstanding and the staff, and especially Gino, made us feelas though we were family. We have recommended it already to a number offamily and friends. Great experience!

  Hotel Cavour proved to be the perfect choice for our honeymoon. I decided on it after weeks of online searching and studying of comments made by guests and we were both thrilled with how it came out to be. It is one of the very few hotels where what you find when you get there is all that the site describes and even better. Everything was great but... what people say » especially worth mentioning are: location, breakfast, decoration, mini spa, roofgarden and service. The honeymoon offer has great value for money. - Our room was excellent. It was bright and pleasant with a lovely view. The front desk staff were also first rate. Every one of the several staff members there was terrifically helpful--from arranging for private car tours to recommending restaurants. Our stay in Florence was greatly enhanced by the well qualified and very kind staff.

  We upgraded our room for a (discounted) 35 Euros per night. We stayed in "The Tower" which was a room on 3 floors with an old stone winding staircase. It was incredible. The top floor (the bedroom) had 360 degree views of Florence for miles. Very romantic and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Valen - Absolutely wonderful hotel right in centre of old Florence. Everything you would want to see is just a short pleasant walk away. Our deluxe room was very big, clean and comfortable with a frame bed and huge couch. The breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of dishes. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast staff even remember what you like and bring it without asking. My wife and I stayed for six nights and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
