The front desk was very cordial. The waitstaff at the bar and restaurant were friendly and helpful. Everything we asked for (wake up call, taxi service at 5:00 in the morning) was handled professionally. We were even provided with a bagged breakfast to take to the airport. The room and facilities were excellent and exactly as described on the net. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. The hotel's decor was very swish and everything was clean.

For us the location was excellent given it's proximity to the Airport, we had a 7:15 flight out in the morning and the staff arranged to have a cab ready for us in the morning.The modern decor and features were very nice. Shuttle service to downtown Florence could run a little later in the evening. shuttle to airport does not begin until 8;00--- too late for our flightand the taxi charged 20 euros for the short hop. Nothing. If I were to nitpick, the bacon at the buffet breakfast was too salty. No taxi service and dinner wasn't available until 7:30 PM.It would be great if the rooms had windows down to the floor, specially in the higher floors. So tht one can truly appreciate the view. location is city...but that is ok. far from city center. Breakfast was rather basic.The hotel parking lot was full upon arrival but the hotel staff helped us find a spot in a nearby street. Breakfast is good but a bit boring with almost no vegetables. First time Iused the card insert near the door. Very confusing. YOu might ask people at check-in if they are familiar with this system.None. More courtsey transfers to/from station will be useful. The shuttle from the hotel finiched at 20:30pm. And the it wasnt very often. But there is the 22 bus that its realy like 50m from the hotel entrance and it goes to the train station and the center near the catedral. Breakfast could be better.Bar drinks very expensive @ 15€ for two drinks. bar staff not always in attendance. The only thing we didn't like about the room was that the shower drain was almost plugged, and the water gathered in the bottom over our feet.The parking situation seemed a bit uninviting because of the gate on a busy street. The location also seemed a bit noisy. It is not in the center of the town, but that is something that we didalready know before going. The location means an aditional cost perperson per day (eur 3 by bus or eur 15 by taxi). There is a shuttleservice but is not as frequently as it should be.only 1 restaurant, limited restaurant menu chioce and slightly expensive. Too far from central Florence. Shuttle service was spotty and cab fares added significantly to the cost of staying at the hotel.We found the breakfast quality was not great and the service was slow at times. Breakfast was not in accordance with the standards of a 4 star hotel. Rooms are very dark, mainly at the lob area and breakfast room. Disappointed to learn on arrival that the shuttle service to Peretola airport was not available for our early am departure. Room upgrade mollified us! Breakfast bags on departure were appreciated.Staff not sure about procedures. Air Con was not on in room on arrival. Problem with the pay tv.
