The stuff!!! "Il signore" looks like a person from Visconti's movies. He knows everithing about Florence and hotels. Very kind!!! The breakfast was good, the room nice, the situation of the Hotel excellent. Anyway we passed first without seeing the name of the hotel (is very small written). The owners were so nice and helpful. The room was clean, the b'fast was good, and the atmosphere was old world charm. Many guest were repeat customers. We enjoyed our stay and the location was very good.all reviews »
The staff was kind and helpful, my room was great and had an amazing view, and the breakfast was the best I've had since being in Italy. Print off a map!. Just bit old decor. And toilet could have been better.It was a bit dated, could use a little TLC however the staff made up for it and facilities were clean. Entrance loby - looked drab and uninviting.The unpleasant hotel entrance and the common washroom is dirty. The services were very poor: breakfast was not much. There are no parking facilities.

- by bus (numbers 1, 7, 10, 17, 2nd or 3rd stop depending on where you get on, getting off in Piazza San Marco)

From the airport (Amerigo Vespucci, Florence):
- by taxi (15 minutes, 5 km away)
- by bus, special "Vola in Bus" service to (and from) the Santa Maria Novella railway station (see above after that)
From the airport (Galileo Galilei, Pisa):
- by train: direct connection from within the airport to the Santa Maria Novella railway station (see above after that)
By car:
Recommended exit from any direction is "Firenze Nord" then follow directions to the centre of town ("centro"). The area around the hotel is limited traffic only but you can get in to unload your luggage (in this case have your license plate number ready to be given to our staff so as not to receive a ticket). For parking there are several garages within walking distance (5 minutes, one of them is in Piazza della Libertà, EUR 15 per day).
