Exceptionally friendly staff. 5-minute walk from Florence central station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) as long as you can follow an Italian street map. A small fridge (room enough for a beer) is available. I was only in town for 18 hours, but I was very happy with my female-only 5-bed dorm with internal bathroom. The facilities are amazing they have free wifi that is really good, the dorms have a private bathroom and full thickness matresses. Stephen at the desk is extremely friendly and will help out whenever you need, adding to the comfortable and relaxed vibe. Great value for money.
all reviews » Great location. Centre of Florence, near railway station. A big clean room. Possibility to book place in only girls' or only in boys' rooms. And, of cource, price, one of the lowest in Florence. like this hostel! not a new, but very clean and comfortable and safe! tea? coffe ,wifi for free! and the terrace outside very good! i would recommend!. Friendliness of staff, the common area and kitchen where you could have coffee/tea and use of the refrigerator. Also loved that it had free Wi-Fi!. -The staff is so helpful ,Ms Ann permit me to use her laptop to book a room in Venice -The bedrooms and their beds are cleaned everyday. Excellent staff. Pretty clean for a backpackers hostel. Excellent mood to chill out after a walk on the city center. The location is good. Not that far from the train station. There's free WiFi. The room and bathroom are clean. I needed a place close to Florence without selling a kidney for it, and New Ostel is as good as it gets. Staffs are all very good to us, they give advices or helps when you need anything!!! The twin beds room is nice,beautiful with good wifi and small kitchen, there are also 2 good and nice Italian people live there often,one is chef who cooks good, we have good time with them in the public kitchen. The boss is also very kind,he help us to put our heavy luggage in Pisa at another hostel but not train station(cost more money!!). Wi-fi. Kitchen that you can use with free tea/coffee. Bedsheets were clean without any smell. Location is okay, near to train station, and you also can walt to the historic center, but make sure that familiarise youself with location since it could be difficult to find. The bedroom are fine, some the employees are ironic and a bit rude, other are ok... The toilet was always full of water cause of the shower... The nicest of the hostel was the common area, comfortable and with outside space... I found it quite clean (but I imagine all also depens on the people that are in the room with you) and very close to SMN station. the guys at réception desk are so nice' enjoy stay in the living ROom every night. Nice people, clean rooms, good internet connection (only at common areas). Good location, close to the Central station. This hostel near Train station. Location is quite great. Wi-fi is free but only just handles the demand (fine for email, but woe betide s/he who needs to make a skype call). A bit cold in the rooms. But it's, I believe, a common problem in that region. But blankets are warm, and sleeping is comfortable. Hard to find location. The website didn't give very accurate directions to it. Also, check-in was very disorganized and took quite a long time. -Nothing. Unfortunately the hostel has family neighbors (not fault of the hostel of course), so absolutely no talking after 11. The WiFi signal in my room is a bit weak. Facilities a bit basic for the price,compared to our previous accommodation near Venice. Always was awesome. Wifi signal was so weak in our room. One of staff was so rude (the night shift). nothing. too much mosquito in the kitchen~. Cold in the room. The shower didn't work properly. One of the mixed dorm's bathroom smells pretty bad......the wifi upstair there is not good(no signal),only in public place....But the twin beds room is good!!! There are mosquitos at night..... Our room was just near to the reception, but I think it should not mean that guy from reception enters our room without any excuse. He was using our bathroom in the middle of the night!!! Also, that guy was talking by skype all the night and you could hear him, so could not sleep well. They charge you for a towel and laundry cost you 6 euro!. Didn't seem to be a secure area at night... At check-in, it became known that when paying by card is + 3% of sum, it was not pleasant. поллотенца for an additional cost, although at the price of the hotel is not cheap. WC so small and not clean. Staff doesn't look like staff, kind of scared me...
