In an 18th century building, the family run Faythe Guesthouse is built on the grounds of a former castle. Offering rooms with en suite bathrooms, the Faythe provides delicious breakfasts. Relax in the lounge, which has been decorated in period style, with an open fireplace and a glass dome roof for extra light. Free parking is available at the Faythe. Wexford town centre is just a short walk away and it has many charming shops and restaurants. The Faythe’s staff can always provide a good recommendation. Wexford town is a good base to reach Kilkenny Castle, Waterford Crystal and Hook Lighthouse. Rosslare’ Ferry port for ferries to UK/France is a 15-minute drive.

EVERYTHING!! Yes really cant fault this fantastic guest house. Truthfully I have stayed in worse 4* hotels. The owners were extremely helpful, efficient & friendly without being in your face all the time. If you needed them, they were there. The room was large, airey, clean & comfortable with all the facilities you would need. The breakfast was superb, great selection, variety & taste. The guest house was well kept and had attractive gardens with great off-street parking. I stayed h.
all reviews » The Faythe is an old residential area of Wexford town and the guesthouse faces a green. It is situated in a pleasant garden with a large free car park. We travelled by train and it is about a fifteen minutes walk from the station. We stayed for two nights and attended a concert at the Opera House which is a ten minute walk away. The restaurants and pubs of Main Street are just a few minutes walk. We received a very friendly greeting and shown to a comfortable room on the first floor. The beds a. Location was great. A ten minute walk to the town meant we could leave our car in the parking lot. Damien & Siobhan were wonderful hosts. The breakfast every morning really were great. Damien had a list of restaurants he recommended & we had dinner in three of them. They were great. The morning we left Siobhan gave us each a bottle of water which was a nice touch & most appreciated on the drive to our next destination . We were in Wexford for the city's annual opera festival. The Faythe Guest House has a great location, a short walk to the opera house and other downtown destinations. Owner/proprietor Damien could not have been more helpful. Breakfast, including a buffet and a wide range of cooked offerings, was among the best we've ever had in forty years of travel. All in all, a great place to stay and enjoy Wexford and southeast Ireland!. Everything about Faythe was excellent - Location, staff, service, room,cost, and attention to detail. Very homely atmosphere, and top class hosts who were most helpful by ensuring that we enjoyed our weekend stay. Ten minutes stroll into Wexford town, and a short drive to the nearest beach. The owners Damien and his wife were very nice people and even though our stay was short-time we were treated very well. We especially enjoyed the ambience of guesthouse 2 with it's country flavor. Will try and visit again. Wexford is a beautiful county and we astonished at the beauty of Kilmore Quay. Well worth a return visit to it's beautiful beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and if in Wexford again, it is definitely where I will be staying. I liked the room where one could sit and just chill or chat,we had a sunny day,so it was great to have the heat from the sun shining in ,rather than just having to sit in a bedroom.Breakfeast was lovely and the place was so quiet,while it was near town,not near enough to hear pub or street noise. Booked because of its close proximity to Talbot Hotel which we were attending for a wedding. Centrally located yet very quiet. Liked the sea view over the rooftops which was unexpected. Everything, what a wonderful find in a central location, 2mins walk to the main street but tucked away with views of the sea,absolutely fab and the breakfast yum,yum,yum. thumbs up to Declan & Siobhan for their hospitality. The proprietor was welcoming, informative and enormously helpful. He even prepared our breakfast early so that we could catch an early morning ferry from Roslare. His recommendation of restaurants for dinner was spot on. Very friendly staff and the hotel had possibly the best breakfast I ever had in Ireland & uk. The owner also gave me a discount upon arrival, after I had made the booking, for being a single person in a double room. The breakfasts were superb and the owners most accommodating in every way. Still, we were well cared for. Abit dated. Everything ok. The short time we had there. Everything was fine. The shower was adequate. The property could do with an update. Nothing. A bit of a walk to town, but not bad. nothing comes to mind !. The decor is a bit dated which some may find a negative, but added to the charm of the place for me.
