Receptionist was very friendly and did not have a problem organising Sandwiches even though it was 10.30pm. The staff were very efficient and helpful. Nice comfortable rooms. Good location for travelling. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and the setting quiet, and restful. room was huge, clean, modern, dining table, close to shops and dining. The staff were excellent, and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming.Very nice clean room. Great service. Quality of breakfast; location; excellent room service; excellent response to housekeeping request.Everything worked well including the meeting rooms and teas and coffees were always on time. Space in the rooms, especially for the 2 children to play around. I liked it was quite and relaxing with a good athomishper. Young chap at reception was very helpful. comfort and value for money. Ease of access, smoothness of check-in. Met my needs in terms of access to main roads.Tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdrier etc. i got upgraded to a lifestyle suite. i was very impressed.Staff very friendly room comfortablelocation very good. The friendly staff. Quick and clean. Location. Friendly staff - breakfast should be included. We used it as a base to see Western Ireland.Smoking rooms available if you want them. Price. Convenient for my appointment.Clean rooms and polite room servicing staff. Good, clean restaurant and polite restaurant staff. Helpful and polite fitness suite staff. Good carparking. Was on business and it was reasonable in price for the area.large bedrooms. large rooms. The staff at reception were very nice and helpful but we felt the restaurant was not managed effectively at all and lacked experienced staff. The room was large enought for one double bed and three single real beds.Friendly staff making you feel welcome at all times. Size of room. Staff dealt with complaints quickly and efficently. The bed was comfortable. The staff that cleans the rooms were very friendly.Very reasonably priced. Bar food not bad in the evening. The proximity to the city was good.Bar was dark and dull. Paul Costello Restaurant extremely dissapointing food was direct from freezer. I would have liked internet access in the rooms. The food was not too great. We would have preferred the cooked breakfast to be prepared to order - it becomes "rubbery" when left sitting for any length. The gym was not open there was a broken tile in my bathroom which Ithink should have been fixed. For what we paid it was absolutely fine. Room was extra warm but it was better than having it too cold. Reception area not very welcoming , no facilities closeby i.e bar rrestaurand .bar very far away from hotel reception. Room temperature was 25°, which I had to quickly reduce to 18°!. Breakfast was very poor.... :(. Put in ground floor where there was a party going on down the hall. Why don't they put guests at party on this floor. Quality of room service food was very poor, and they charged an additional fee to bring it to your room, this may have been on the roomservice menu but I cant remember seeing it.Seemed pretty deseted. Restaurant didn't open. Cream Room did but had no one in it. Bar had very few punters. slow service in dining room. The road noise. Fitness suite looking a little scruffy - Broken locks on entrance doors, scruffy shower curtains, steam room out of action, dirty shower room floor. Had room service for breakfast whoch was very poor. No milk or sugar for cerial. Hot food was dry as though it had been sitting under a food warmer for a prolonged time.bar service slow for food and drink, not due to staff but size of place-food menu in bar very limited and the restaurant closed at 9.00. on saturday night there was a dinner dance and despite having stayed there a week we were not advised and the very loud noise was directly below us, it was appalling. The cold tap was not working in my room. I asked them to fix this but they didnt. Hence I had to use hot water to brush teeth, could not cool water down for washing etc. We went into the cream bar before 7 p.m. and we were offered what we thought was the early bird menu. We proceeded to order from same. The food was ok we ordered desert but had to wait 30mins for same. We left restaurant around 820pm and gave the waiter our room numbers,When we went to check out we were charged full dinner prices which was reduced by 10% when I pointed out we felt it was all in. bathroom could have been cleaner. The selection of food was not large. The heating in the rooms was not working, after several complaints it was fixed, only to promptly go off again! A room move was offered but this was on the last night of the 3 we stayed and it would have only been for 12 hours. I was not impressed. The bar staff were awful. Our room had black hairs in a supposedly cleasn bed and also in thebath, which we discovered whilst washing our young son. With military staying at the hotel, the security presence of Police and Detectives in the lobby would cause concern...food in resturant was poor in quality and presentation, service not as expected in a hotel in this price bracket. First of all this hotel should be 3 stars and sometimes it is in the bordeline with 2. Front desk staff is not friendly.I asked for quiet room and didn't get it.I had to ask again and they gave it to me. Overall the hotel is ok if you get a price offer throught internet, if not I wouldn't recommend it.Very old fashioned. Definitely needs to be renovated and some money spent on the property to bring it into the 21st century. We were woken by extremely loud music at 8am in the morning. The room was shaking. We were told by reception that there was a dancing competition in the function room beneath our room. Despite getting a reduction in the price of the room we were not impressed. The air conditioning in the room was broken so it was uncomfortably cold, also it took 1hour and 15mins to get room service - we only ordered a salad and a sandwich!! Ridiculous! Not 4* service.
