I've never experienced such excellent customer service. From the moment we arrived to checking out the staff at this hotel were very friendly, helpful and very efficient. The welcome from the reception staff was lovely. The quality of the breakfast buffet was outstanding and the we were greeted every morning by very cheerful staff despite it being very busy.I would highly recommend this hotel for the customer service alone as well as it being a fabulous hotel in a wonderful location.
all reviews » Where the hotel is situated is without doubt the most scenic part of this country. Waking up to this background is an amazing experience. I am from Ireland and expect staff to be pleasant which they were at the skellig but I even thought they exceeded my expectations. Especially a lady on the cleaning staff that was very friendly when id pass her in the hall way. and a lady from Armagh which made an extra effort been friendly with us. This adds to the overall experience. loved the offer of the presidential room at special rate , this was offered to us on arrival check in and it really was the ' icing on the cake' for us. We just would not have been able to stretch our budget to the full price of this suite so were delighted when it was on offer when we arrived. Thank you so much , we will definitely go back again . Room was excellent.. Restaurant and buffet breakfast was excellent. Could literally see Fungi out in Dingle Bay as we ate our breakfast. Staff very very pleasant and attentive. Pool and jacuzzi was excellent. 5min walk from town centre, Would thoroughly recommended the Skellig Hotel. I have stayed at the Dingle Skellig hotel on several occasions over the years and I always thoroughly enjoy my stay there. The location is fantastic, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere around the hotel. We loved Dingle Skellig Hotel. The location was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly-even providing a special birthday cake. The restaurant was superb! Also, excellent communication!. The atmosphere at the Dingle Skelig is comfortable and it fits in well with its surroundings and its harbourside location. The staff were friendly and attentive to guests needs and interests. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The spa was definitely the best part. The outdoor hot tub made it worth every penny. Food in the bar and breakfast were amazing. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much for them .Dining manager was exceptional and eager to please .Will definately return this year. The staff certainly make it a four star hotel.They were exceptional,as were the facilities.Would have no problem recommending the hotel. we only stayed one night but have been before and would always stay here. the breakfast staff very friendly and cheerfull. Location of hotel is ideal. Breakfast was above average and waitstaff were excellent. View is spectacular. Geared for families, had a young baby and mother and baby room was super and creche was fantastic also. Lovely room, great staff, fantastic location. Everything. good location and great food. The staff were very friendly. The hallway outside our room (331) was creaky and therefore a bit noisy. no dislikes. Woken up by cattle in adjoining field "moo-ing" at 6am in the morning....but not the fault of the hotel. Nothing!. Rooms were very basic. Nothing special and a little old fashioned. Our only complaint is that we had a noisy room, we could hear everything in the hallway (kids,doors,luggage going down the hallway). Perhaps a higher priced room would have addressed this and were we staying longer I might have asked for a different room. We were only there for two nights, not worth complaining about, but you asked. Very warm in room, but found radiator control and turned off :). Decor in the room a bit dated.bed not very comfortable. Nothing. The smell of the pool when you open the front door. All you really pay for is the view. Farther than other, equally nice, stays from the city center. More geared to individuals who travel with a car to get around and see the sights. TV Signal vpoor,. Breakfast was mayhem. rooms need refurbishment & no BBC 1 TV signal working in room although it is listed. a bit dear. View from room. The Mojito was too rummy - could have been better. Rooms a little small, no refrigerator or air conditioning. As it was a special occasion requested a room with a view and we were sent to the corner of the hotel overlooking a ditch and road.The room stank of smoke and the carpet was damp for some reason.The pool was very cold and the changing rooms were shabby.This was our second time staying here and it will be our last.
