Loved staying at Sraid Eoin House! The hosts, Maurice and Kathleen are the nicest people, and they made our stay in Dingle a very pleasant one. The B&B is conveniently located in town center - easy to get to from the bus stop at the quay - be sure to follow "The Mall" street right up the hill in town, rather than going the long way down the mail road and up the long hill to the far end of John Street). B&B is at the intersection of John Street (Sraid Eoin), which continues from Main Str.
all reviews » Sraid Eoin House is in a lovely town with shops and pubs, for the total Ireland experience. A highlight was hearing traditional music every night. Our hosts were helpful in directing us towards activities of interest, and the guest house was well located and comfortable. Each morning we were greeted with a full and well-made breakfast to order. This was a very cute bed and breakfast above a travel agency in Dingle. It was close to the bars and about 6 blocks from the harbor. Parking was free but on the street. Room was comfortable. Almost all the rooms in Dingle appear to be bed and breakfasts and they are plentiful. Hosts were very nice and gave us a very nice breakfast. Wonderful couple; not only did Michael help me upstairs with the bags but his wife sorted out a problem for me with an overseas call. Easy to find on the one-way road, with off street parking. Walk to shops n restaurants. Lovely cosy B & B, Kathleen was one of the nicest hostesses I have come across. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Lovely breakfast in the morning too. Muiris Dans pub beside Sraid Eoin was great crack. The Staff was courteous and very helpful. Our room was clean and it was easy to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast had many tasty options. Great location and friendly enough staff. We found on street parking without hassle. Home made soda bread at breakfast was super tasty. We got a big room, very clean and comfortable. Nobody was there when we arrived but when we called him he arrived after 5 mn. The rooms were very clean, good space. Great value for money. Staff were very friendly to us on the Saturday morning. - Very central location (5 mins to everywhere in Dingle) - Owner was very friendly and helpful - Breakfast was nice. But I don't believe there was much private parking anywhere in town. Dragging my heavy luggage up three flights of stairs but that was probably my own fault!. No vegetarian sausages at breakfast-although I didn't find these offered at any b&b in ireland!. No coffee or tea facilities in the room. They can improve the quality of their breakfast. Check out was a bit too earlier - 11am :) would loved to have had another hour in bed! :). Nothing. noisy floor boards,almost had to tiptoe around. Your website failed to mention that payment needed to be made in "cash" Euros. (As the owners confirmed that they have repeated asked you to include prominently on the info-page for their B&B). As it was a weekend and banks were closed that failure-to- communicate caused considerable problem for us, though we did work through it. Suggest you correct your info page for future bookings. Other than that one disconnect, the place was marvelous and exactly as desirted and expected. did not take credit cards. Very small shower/bathroom, disappointing. We tried to buzz in, called the numbers on the door to check in and no answer. Owner came shortly after when a bartender next door gave him a call. Other than this inconvenience it was a great stay. Nothing. Parking on road limited. Shower slow to react.
