The staff were awesome. Very helpful and extremely friendly. Couldn't be better. The hotel building itself is lovely, right on the sea, Balinese style. Rooms could probably be updated but are very comfortable as is. The pool is brand new. Massage is excellent. A special shout-out to the lovely woman who runs the restaurant (and cooks for you if you come in between meal times) I'm sorry I can't remember her name but she absolutely epitomizes hospitality! Favourite memory: a drink in the open wal.
all reviews » The Swimming pool is awesome, large and clean. The staffs here are really friendly and always serve with a smile, which makes us feel more welcome during our stay in the hotel. Alongside hotel, there is a few lounge area and is really relaxing to grab a book and read it while listening to the quiet sea. You would rather spend a day or two just to relax and the lounge area, listening to the calm sea instead of venturing out for the city life there. Older style resort but well designed. We enjoyed sitting out on our balcony watching the fishing, sunsets and outrigger boats moving around. Staff were very friendly and helpful, readily assisting when my husband needed transport to the local pharmacy. Meals at the restaurant were tasty and good value for money. Nice hotel on the beach. Helpful staff, they give us coconut for free and Bali coffee as a present. Very comfortable bed and clean rooms with seaview. The staff. The view. The food. The atmosphere, we felt like we belonged here. Perfect can't wait to go back. Merry on reception was wonderful :-). Very close to beach minute walk. Friendly staff nice place to stay. The hotel is great and motor biking around the villages in the mountains is an awesome way to spend the day. Lovina is relatively quiet. The beach is not much to look at. Don't expect excitement. This is a place to relax. Singaraja is a bit of a dump (sorry but it is). There is little to none beach front, so do not expect any white sands beaches at the hotel. The showers are hot, but is difficult to adjust the desirable warm water, is either hot or cold. I have always prefer a warm shower to a hot shower, so i spend quite some time in adjusting the water heat and in the end gave up and shower the hot shower instead. But all of these is a minor defect that affect my stay here. Hotel located at main road so it was quite noisy in the room and at lobby. Quite away from Lovina center - you should take a transport to go there but this is no problem. Dirty Lovina beach is not for swimming. Lovina is a small village - just for one night stop. Beach along the hotel is dirty. And the swimming pool looks not so clean. the beach is dirty and very small. The location is too far away from everything if you do not have private transport. To walk to Lovina, there is no footpath. Walking along the beach is like walking in a garbage tip. In one word filthy. Nothing.
