Absolutely wonderful staff who were friendly and helpful. Very pretty place. Good food. Reliable internet. Though some reviews said the location was too far from the beach, I found it very nice. The walk to the beach was very short. Being a little further away from the beach made it a little quieter. Nanuk's Bungalow is definitely a home away from home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere very cozy and relaxing. Overall a great relaxing long weekend.As expats living in Bali we will definitely stay again at Nanuk's next time we visit Nusa Lembongan.
all reviews » The staff at Nanuk's was wonderful! Very helpful and welcoming. They even turn on the air-con in the evening so you come home to a cool bungalow. The location is a bit off the beaten path; you can rent motorbikes to get around. Kindness of staff ! Rooms are extremely clean and perfectly equipped ! Mosquito net and air conditioning works perfect, outside bathrooms, And ask for the little beach close to the hotel to avoid mushroom bay.... Clean, cute, quiet and each bungalow has everything you could need or want, including air-conditioning. Staff were helpful, pool clean and food was very tasty also. Would definately recommend Nunuk's. Very nice hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. We liked the bungalows with the outside bathroom. Cozy pool area. Good food at the restaurant. The location is ok in daytime but when it´s dark you need a scooter (at least a flashlight) to leave the hotel area except if you are not going to the neighbouring hotel. Nothing all good. The resort is located close to Tamarind beach, with could do with a bit of a cleanup (so could the rest of the Island, by the way) and is not very special. Breakfast gets a bit boring after a while, but will do. Some more variation would not be amiss and it would be handy if they sold some wine as well. But all these things are minor issues. We loved the place!. 5 min walk to the swimming beach. Bay near to hotel nice to see and have diner, but not for swimming. Shower area to the rear of the bungalows needs improvement and the hotel behind could see you as you enter the toilet/shower area. The outdoor shower and bathroom facilities located on ground floor were a bit basic and required steep stairs to be negotiated in some of the bungalows Hot water not always working. The shower wasn't too warm (which was just fine if you shower during the day when it is warm out) It wasn't cold per-se just not overly warm. - they ask everytime if you want to have a massage. Would have been even better when it's directly located at the beachfront. Now its a 2mins walk... Room smelt a little like cat urine but otherwise very clean including the bed and linen. Every other down side just reflects the price, this is not a luxe resort. Breakfast not very good. A bit far from beach and surf spots.
