I don’t know I have to start from where.. if I have to tell about my holiday at Bay Shore hut, it was AHH-MAIZING!! First of all, I have bad experience with the Boat service at Sanur, when me and my friend want to buy boat tickets to depart from Sanur beach to Lembongan Island, unfortunately the boat service company wasn’t nice with us, they said there’s no boat because of the Kuningan day, BUT when there’s a foreigner tourist come, the boat’s staff asked them to wait! *what the.. h*ck?!! all reviews » We left the hustle and bussle of Sanur and southern Bali with all the crazy traffic and chaos and travelled the 30 mins in the fast boat out to Lembongan island. How glad we were we did.. This place is a real Balinese experience - the tiny island, riddled with little lanes and track perfect for mopeds only has mopeds on the island and everyone is on them gliding about. The population of the island must be quite small, but even so there are beautiful athentic villages with glorious temples and. Our deluxe bungalow was perfect! We stayed in the newly built one which was located in a lovely garden facing the second swimming pool and spa area. The room is bigger than you see in the description and very new and cosy! The staff is really good and helped us with any requests we had. Snorkeling trip is cheaper than you can find in other places (they suggested 350K Rp for 2 people for 1 private boat taking to 3 snorkeling places). You can rent a bike right in the hotel (we paid 70K Rp\whole d. A real find - Bay Shore Huts is great value for money, and a very peaceful place to stay. The staff are fantastic, really friendly and were so sweet and helpful on all occasions. The location is lovely, by the nature of Lembongan the island, be aware that you will need to hire a scooter to travel around. It is like this anywhere on the island though, so not a negative. I have no complaints loved every thing about the Island as well as the Resort. We staryed at the resort for 8 days and they made us feel so welcome. Looking forward to going back next year with the kids and show them how awesome this place is and if your into snorkelling words cant tell you how amazing it is, I felt like a was swimming with nemo and his friends. Bets bali any day was very sad to leave. We liked the quiet laid back atmosphere. Magnificent views accross the water to Bali volcano from both the infinity pool and restaurant. Couldn't get any closer to the water if you tried. Very comfy bed. Helpful and friendly staff made us feel very much at home. Lovely gardens. New villas will be opened in June with huge pool and spa area. Would highly recommend a visit but understand this is Lembongan Island NOT Bali so expectations should be adjusted. The staff was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. Staff picked us up from the ferry on motorbikes, bit of a challenge with all the luggage but excellent service. The huts were good and the view from the front row, where we stayed was beautiful. The breakfast was good, ala carte and included in the room rate, we ordered more than we were supposed to but they did not charge us any extra. The hotel also has motor bikes for rent at a good price. Everything you ask for is done as soon as posible. We wanted to rent motorbikes and we had them, We drank our coffee on our terrass and the staff always delivered them with a smile. We wanted to do the bananaboat and Nik made sure the banana came to pick us up at the beach in front of the hotel. We just loved our stay, and didn't want to leave. The sea view and the location for this hotel are very nice. You can stay here for a week, I mean only in the hotel. You can walk to the sunset point, or hire a motorcycle go around the island and cross the bridege to another small island which is brillian and got a very very pretty view there. It was very quiet, staff was fantastic and friendly. My husband and myself stayed 6 nights for a relaxing getaway. No tv, no partying, just adventurous days and relaxing nights. Adam surfed everyday and if we weren't laying by the pool sipping on bintangs we were riding around the island, snorkelling, paddle boarding or eating or getting a massage. The staff was very helpful. The property is made in a very nice way with the infinity pool and the restaurant looking right into the sea... The water on the beach is very clear... Also we got the beach view hut and which had a nice outdoor seating area where you can dine, read a book with the view of the beach.. We absolutely loved it. The place was very peaceful and serene. The grounds were meticulously maintained.The staff were very cordial and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, and so was the massage by the pool. We will be back. The island itself is quite quiet and Bay Shore Huts are located outside the main village but near Mushroom Bay which is stunning. The view back to Bali is fantastic on a clear day. The restaurant was decent and reasonably priced. the ambience of the place was great & staff were friendly and helpful. Even though they were constructing 2 new huts the noise was minimal but they were considerate re working around guests - but it also didn't worry us,. We really enjoyed our stay at Bay Shore Huts. We went fishing with an outrigger boat and caught 2 snappers which the kitchen staff prepared for our dinner that night. Everything. Lembongan is quite a primitive island and nestled on the southern end, Bay Shore Huts is a hidden paradise like nothing we've ever seen before. Staff are wonderful. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond for us. We would go back most definitely and recommend Bay Shore for a relaxing and beautiful holiday. views from room across pool to ocean were spectacular. Location Gardens Room Accommodation Concierge was excellent. small simple bungalow accomodation, near the sea. they do not have Bali traditional food at the restaurant.. but it's not a big issue for me actually.. :). there was nothing at all to complain about - for even the most fastidious type - but the people there are so relaxed, don't go spoiling it for everyone else if you like to look for things to complain about. Swimming pool has a lovely view on a sea but the beach isn't clean by the staff and full of seaweed and a lot of boats are parked along the beach walk. But you can reach Mushroom beach for swimming in 5 min by motorbike or 15 min walking. New villas were being built immediately behind our room. Hammering and power saws are not exactly relaxing. We were unable to use our outdoor toilet and shower while thatching was being installed. No privacy. Air con struggled to cope with daytime heat. Cannot swim easily off beach. Beach in front isnt there at high tide and at low tide it is all reef and no sand, not good for swimming. Remember to bring sun cream, very sunshine there. LOLLOL. There is no beach at the hotel but mushroom bay is only a couple of minites bike ride away. Bike hire is only a couple of dollars and we took it very slowly. There's no beach but Mushroom Beach is just a short walk away. Lighting is a little dim in the huts, and the air-conditioning is not the most efficient, but that's minor. Everything else makes up for it. We were there in low season so it possibly may have been better to stay in the main village unless you are willing to drive a moped as despite what the guidebooks say cycling is not encouraged and there are no real walkways to get around on foot. wifi could be stronger. really nothing that i didnt like. No fridge in room. Aircon only just coped. Lighting is low powered (which admittedly relates to generator power). Only staying for 4 days!!!!. we wanted to use the bikes free of charge as offered in the notification on letsbookhotel.com but they don't have any bikes. they told us to rent a motorbike and they didn't want to give us discount in exchange that they don't have bikes. food was not so good. The airconditioner was no good! It was very hot during the night so if you like a cold room then forget it. The air conditioning was lacking. - no beach at the resort. Was advertised with TV, mini bar and wifi, but unfortunately none was available in the room. Do not book any boat trip with the hotel. It will be more expensive. More and more expensive. The beach is not so good than mushroom bay. Air conditioner was not very good. Did not replenish soap, shampoo, tea etc daily, thus ran out. to far out of town about a 15 minute walk. The rooms needed a tv and a fridge, other than that, all great!. food Wait staff No refrigerator in room. no ocean view from ocean view bungalow, electricity cut, water cut, wifi cut, construction noise from 6:30am, remoteness, unreliable staff, very average restaurant,... The beach is not good. You cannot walk on beach.
