My rating is based on the rooms rather than the entire hotel. The rooms are very nice with wired Internet, coffee/tea, mini-bar/fridge, safe, good closet space, TV with many channels, comfortable bed, hairdryer. Wired Internet only in the rooms. WiFi in public areas. Both are excellent, fast, reliable. I stayed 3 nights in a Superior room - these are on ground floor. Nice room with terrace (wall about 10ft from edge of the building) but a bit dark like a cave and AC was too cold for me. I m.
all reviews » Stayed in a Deluxe room on the 5th floor (top floor) Hotel is well maintained and staff are the most kindest people and always happy. We arrived at 2am (delayed flight) they were more then happy to accomodate us even though we were late. Breakfast is same as most places ive stayed at, The pool is a lap pool but was enough for a relaxing dip to cool off. We never seen anybody in it the hole 9 days we stayed. The bar down stairs is a great place to unwind after a big day stomping the pavement. Lo. The place is in an excellent location, very close to excellent resteraunts and Kuta Sq. The beach is only a 10 min stroll away. The staff were of a excellent quality, with a smiling face and helpful attitude. The breakfast was very good. Good variety, with European and Asian dishes with a egg station.The room was very comfortable with good storage, and roomy. Bath in the ensuite. Wifi was acceptable. Safe parking under hotel. I travel to Bali many times per year and will definitely stay here ag. Perfectly located for shopping, shopping, massage, shopping, shopping, eating, shopping, shopping, tattoos, shopping, shopping... and, Discovery Mall, Kuta Square, Matahari Dept Store are all within a minutes walk. Poppies Lane is 5 minutes walk away - (until you get to know the back streets). Not once did I feel unsafe in this area - and many times I was on my own. The place was very close to heart of Kuta with walking distance to main areas. 3 mins walk to breezy beach, right in front of row of souvenir and massage centres. 5 mins walk to Sogo Mall (Discovery Mall). The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staffs are helpful as they manage to quickly allow me to change the date. Liked the fact that the hotel was located in the middle of Kuta, just 5 min walk to the main shopping street/Kuta Square/beach. Location is amazing. It is situated at the centre of Kuta. You dont need taxi if you stay here because everywhere are reachable. It was close to kuta beach about 5 min by walking. Pool is currently quite small and on ground floor so if you need a nice pool or place for the sun at the hotel, should wait until the rooftop pool is completed. Lobby & public areas furniture looks pretty new but is already a bit stained from sloppy guests!. Had loud neighbours (more bad luck ), pool is small, small ant problem but hardly noticeable. Reno's are in progress - putting a rooftop pool in. Didnt bother me however, I was out shopping and when I got back.. all was quiet. The LAN connection port of room 108 was malfunction, lucky wifi was working. - Swimming pool is too small - Wifi doesn't work in the room. the slippery bathroom after showers, they should do something to prevent spitting water from path tube, path slippers are needed urgently, lobby and corridors where you can find internet are not air-conditioned, any, pool is a large Jacuzzi size,or a fountain not a real pool. any way non were a disturbance to my holiday, but you should be ready not to be surprised. Nothing that I can think about!!!. The food is expensive compared to stalls outside the hotel. The full day tour is costly about 680K ruppiah compared to the travel booths at streets at 450K ruppiah. Reminder all places of interest entrance fees are not included. Wi-Fi only available at lobby area which is backdated as nowadays wi-fi are available thoughout hotels n malls. Can't understand why a hotel still has a cable internet in 2013, instead of wifi in the rooms. Also, the hygiene in the bathroom wasn't that great...mould in the shower, and the sink cupboard was coming loose..... The swimming pool is small and sunbathing area only large enough for 2 people. To receive a call from reception at 5:50 in morning to tell me room price for extra night because they didn't had that information when I came hotel in evening! Could have waited for a decent time!. Toilet floor always wet, seems somewhere is leaking. - It is in big international standart hotel, with not very much indonesien flair - The twin bed rooms are on the inside, which means NO DAYLIGHT! - Even on low power, the A.C. blows on the beds (via a gap under the ceiling). Guess my ma got there her sniff, but not sure. ;-). We didn't like Kuta, it was too busy for us, but of course this is not the fault of the hotel. The car service seemed to be overpriced by a particular staff. The rooms next to the lifts would suffer from the very noisy elevators. Massage, while good, could be much better. Sitting place for breakfast not enough, the seats inside are too dark, shower water not strong enough. Limited wifi reach - only inside the lobby (not even in the front bar/cafe). Wifi in rooms was not wireless - fine for your laptop but no use for my iphone. Swimming pool too small and in full view of the dining room. Not a great place if you want to lounge around. The shower curtain did have mold on it but apart from that all was good. Swimming pool sizes and the location not so good . Wi if was very bad.in the room no wi if.but in reception it was good. Wifi is not available for the rooms, only limited at the lobby of the hotel. The wifi is only accessible near reception. No wifi in the rooms in spite being mentioned in the hotel's website. The toilet floor design is poor that water tends accumulate and floods the floor. If water falls to the toilet floor, it does not drain out immediately - causing inconvenience. There is construction work at the back of the hotel - very loud noise sometimes starts as early as 7.30am. Swimming pool is so small and not well maintained - I did not see anyone using it. Shower curtain a bit dirty. Wifi is only available at some specific areas only. Room 208's bath tub had problem, made the floor wet at all time. Small pool. No wifi in the rooms, took a while for staff to attend to your room if you need something, sometimes not answer the phone at night. The breakfast was limited if you have issues with bread onions etc.. Could see a few mosquitoes. The we're no ac outside the rooms and restaurant area. Wifi did not work inside the rooms. Works outside. Very small swimming pool. I mistook it for a fountain lol :). There is no WIFI connection in our room. The pool was smaller that I used to stay in another hotels. I think it's because of its place that didn't support anymore space to build a larger pool. And also the location of pool that near breakfast area makes my breakfast a little bit disturb. That's because there are several people that swim on the pool while we're having breakfast. A few Mosquitos in room but we had repellent in room. The towels is old. The swimming pool supposed on the top floor or do not close to the restaurant. Very close to the Kuta area with lots of movement. For our bad lucky the hotel was in manteinance: too noisy, days with no water and no swimming pool on the top, but the price was still the same, no discount for the inconvenient. But I m sure its not usual. Breakfast could have been better, can't make a latte there but wasn't a big issue I just got one down the road. Area has a lot of traffic and often drunken Australian men carousing around at night not far from the hotel. The Superior Double Room is very small. And it's at the 1st floor, not the same as the description said in the 2nd floor. So the balcony is useless since the only thing we can see is a wall. Has mosquito. We stayed in Deluxe room. Room is spacious and comfortable but there is no window. Air conditioning is superb!. Just its swimming pool was small and we did not use it.
