The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the heart of Colaba, so it is close to the main shopping areas, food/cafes and a good base for the tourist sites in that area of Mumbai. Great spot, really helpful people, beautiful room and view for a cheap price. Haven't had a better place in India so far. Hot water in the shower, colaba causeway right outside, new and fresh hotel, nice rooms, good service. And free wifi!.

Close to gates of India, taj hotel, right next to leopolds and colaba market. Location close to the Gateway & a selection of bars nearby. Only the great location just behind Gateway of India. The staff was quite polite and quick in arranging taxi to the airport at an reasonable rate As if we would be a prepaid cab. Also room service was polite and quick. Location absolute top - 20 m from Leopold and Causeway. Money exchange to a fair rate - imagine nobody is trying to rip you off - in India!. Location is good. Located in colaba and walking distance to Gatway of Mumbai, Starbucks, McDonalds, Leopold cafe and shopping districts. Location is great!. Single rooms are small. I did not mind since I was rarely indoors. Like most budget places in India, bathroom and shower is all in one. They don't accept credit cards, but there are atm's in the area, so just be mindful of that. Noisy ac. No Choice of Breakfast,Credit or Debit card payment. European prices but thats Mumbai. Wi Fi only in reception. No wifi, over priced for the size of room... If not in such a good location this hotel wouldn't get business. Noisy at times due to its proximity to a main road & the constant noise of car horns!!. For 40 Eur you definitely expect clean bed sheets and towels; at least anywhere in Europe. Not so in India. At least floor and bathroom where clean. So unpack your sleeping bags. First night we got a room without window! Horror. Be specific in your communication with them. Would I stay again? Not so sure. Bed bugs crawled on me on the 2nd night and on the 3rd night i got bitten. This is more like a backpakers style hotel. Toilet is small, soap and toothpaste handles are dirty covered with white moss, sink is not properly cleaned. Bed is old and pillow is full of brown and yellowish stains. Enough said, i would recommend to stay only for a night or 2. Give it a try, you might like it consider the price and location and if you are not too fuss about cleaniness. 1 Staff could hardly speak English. Also gave very conflicting answers and many times outright wrong information which affected my stay 2 No wifi in the room but only in the corridor which does not count as a public space truly! 3 no mosquito nets on windows 4 poor strength showers and no hot water 5 letsbookhotel.com said double pr twin single but the staff lied and said you only booked a double and cant have two single as its not your booking.
