A great place to experience & enjoy. Its for everyone, be it alone, couple & family. One should plan and add one day extra to your itinerary because on last day u would always say.... i need one more day to relax.. Food is good, staff is very loving, room service is really satisfying and what else ...wow greens all over on sea side. excellent thruout stay staff full marks courteous considerate daughters bday treated like A V special day much appreciated esply when U R back late evening and see A gorgeous cake thoughtfully done and beautifully presented and appreciated by all keep it up!!!.
all reviews » Room's fine, view's great, staff's friendly and most of them are very helpful. My boyfriend and I went there for Valentine's day, they helped to arrange everything. 3 restaurants in the resort, the one with Goan food is the best!. I liked everything, the location is stunning, the staff is incredibly nice, the service is spot on, the rooms are spacious and have big bathtubs, food is varied and good. The Vivanta Taj Village is a keeper. The place is peaceful.The beach is just outside the hotel. the pool is big and clean.Service was very good, and staff was very efficient polite. Over all service was excellent. Our stay was very comfortable. The staff are exceptional, very efficient and very friendly. The facilities are world class and the food is really great. Lots of things to do at the resort itself, I would recommend this to everyone!!. Lots of green, spread out property. Superb pool that stays open till 9pm so can chill till late unlike most resort pools that close later. Lots of activities for children. Courteous staff. serene atmosphere. a lot of greenery. swimming pool and the aqua bar, cuisine, well spread breakfast. We like the locations and plantation around the cottages, it was like living in tropical rain forest. Housekeeping staff were good. location was excellent, property was good. hospitality ambience spacious food location facility. the enviornment,servicesand stay of class. Activity Manager - Krishna was superb and very proactive with the kids.... no words to express gratitude to the staff of taj holiday village. Facilities are old, especilly doors and windows. And my boyfriend had a swimming in the ocean and got bitten by sea lice... Nothing. The rooms are too small to be classified 5*. Rooms very tired and old, so need to be fully refurbished. The housekeeping boy mopped the wet bathroom floor with our used towels. I complained at reception and there was no follow up explanation/apology assurance of the matter having being dealt with. Don't they have MOPS?. Room flooring, less no. of famous TV channels,. We liked everything, sorry!. That it is outrageously expensive in the Christmas-New Year period. The duty manager was rude. Wanted to give a surprise dinner to my wife. They were not happy to do that privately. small pool - always crowded beach view is not quite beach view room sitting arrangements DVD was never available though booked private cottage, got non-private and was not changed even after requets. buffet was always same everyday,please look into it. condition of sunbeds by the pool - somewhat rundown. The hotel is completely run down and is not in line with being branded a TAJ property... hop the mangment in mumbai think seriously about re-investing and renovating a RUN DOWN property or else they will loose out to competition... Aircondition vents and the room needs to be cleaned better. The room alloted to us was in one corner with a pathetic view outside, even when there were vacancy all over the hotel. Value for money is not at all apreciated. The management can be considerate about room allocations, especially looking at the reputation the hotel holds. Rude n Unfriendly staffs(front /security/service) untidy rooms(insects/cockroach /fly) ...pathetic room service ..worst of the all was there food wth insect served to us??.
