Staff from the Taj were always friendly and helpful. Hotel taxi drivers excellent. Staff from Jiva spa very very good both male and female professional.Pool areaclean and well stocked with towels. Housekeeping very polite. 1. Lovely facilities 2. Very courteous staff 3. Extremely friendly, realized that we were with an infant daughter and they sent a chocolate brownie as a surprise to the room 4. Superb location.
all reviews » The staff are wonderful and make you feel very welcome. The breakfasts are excellent and a huge variety of Western and Indian food . Would recommend a dosa in the morning. Close to the beach. Dat we could use both village nd Aguada...the staff sent a cake on my b'day...and...everything ... Shall love to stay here every time I visit Goa. I liked how the staff treated us with respect and how we were always asked about our stay. Loved the range of Mocktails and the breakfast. The reception by the staff on arrival. Courtious staff. The ambiance and the rooms. The food. Every thing was excellent. Our stay was very good and the staff kept us very happy and adjusted according to all our requests. Thankyouu !. Reception area has a spectacular jaw dropping view. Bar area facing Arabian Sea is marvellous. Location was great & so was the food. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was OK and the staff were helpful most of the time. Location Services. A jacuzzi at the spa would have been a great way to start before massage treatments. There wasn't one. 1. Restaurant choices could be better and more wide-ranging. The rooms are a bit faded and really need renovating. There are sometimes big weddings and events on which can lead to some noise and some disruption in the bars and restaurants. Room cleanliness and attention to details could have been better - especially toilet. Dirty ness behind the room balcony. apart from some cleaning issues like dirt and cob web at back of bed, everything was perfect. Our honeymoon bed can be decorated more good. Ala Carte Cuisine, electrical plugs in the room loose and defective, not enough and appropriately located plug pts for charging of elec gadgets, lack of wall clock in the room, lack of stationery and writing material,light switches not marked, complementary items not placed until demanded, bath tub drain partially clogged. The surrounding countryside is very wild. The hotel is very old and requires major renovation to live up to it's 5 star billing. Currently it is between 3 and 4. Food Commuting from cottage to dining and back.

Important information to guests

Please note that for security purpose all Indian guests are required to present a valid photo ID proof (Voter's ID, Driving Licence, Aadhar Card, any other ID with address approved by the Government of India. A Pan Card is not acceptable). All international guests are required to present a valid passport and visa. Please note that the property will be hosting a mandatory Gala Dinner for Christmas and New Year 2017. The dinner charges are inclusive for 24th Dec and 31st Dec 2017. As per Income tax rules, every person shall quote his/her PAN while making payment to hotels and restaurants against their bills for an amount exceeding INR 25000 at any one time. Please note that for the Full Board Package any child between the age of 5 to 12 years (both years included), will be charged at an additional cost and needs to be cleared at the time of check in. Please note that the swimming pool will be closed between 10th to 25th September 2017 (both days inclusive) for periodic maintenance activity. During this period the pool facilities at the property Vivanta by Taj Holiday Village will be available for use to guests. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
