The best breakfast I have ever had.. The variety was just stunning - breads, pastries, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, puddings! The staff were constantly making sure everything was topped up, amazing. Room was nice - very much a city boutique feel - and the bed comfortable. The staff were helpful too. The hotel isn't in the centre of town but there are various buses, trolley buses, the metro and feet to take you into the city centre. It's near the City Park.
all reviews » Very convenient if you came from Vienna in Keleti railway and you need to go to the airport he next morning. 5 min walking from Keleti (not so easy to find behind the conner, but just ask in another easy achievable hotel as I did). Clean and calm place, Spar is near. If you travel alone - you can book airport shuttle for the next morning for 10 euro rather, than taxi for 25. One of our friends travelled and stayed at another apartment not far away from our hotel, but unfortunately he could not locate it. The hotel learnt about this and sent their staff to go searching for it with my friend. Although they still could not find the apartment (the address mentioned on the vocheur was wrong), their action was really helpful to us. The room was nice & comfortable, The staff friendly. The location is not in the center itself, but very easy to get there, 5-7 min by metro (kelety station 2 min walk from the hotel). The area is quiet, I could easily sleep with the open window. I didn't take the breakfast, so I don't know how is that. Anyway I would reccomend the hotel. Good breakfest, laptops with internet access near dining room and WiFi available in all the hotel free of charge. Good location for budget travellers. You can reach the hotel by foot from Keleti railway and metro station (Keleti palyuaudvar). Near to city center, but more cheaper than in centrally located accomodation. Great location. Old railway station, weird homeless asking people , repairment works around....I Would definitely suggest another place. I upgraded my room, therefore I recieved a kettle and dishes, probably there are no such things in each room. I could watch only 3 channels on the TV which were in english (and I was watching the TV 30-60 min in the morning and evening). One of the lifts was out of action which caused some delays getting to my room on the 6th floor at busier times of the day. Although I wasn't really watching tv, the channel selection is a little bit weird cause 3/4 are in Hungarian and the rest is quite disappointing. But nevermind, it's not quite important. The shower glass was half see-through from the room. a little noisy outside. -expensive parking. No soap (I'd prefer it instead of shower gel). Small pillows. There are few problems: the air conditioner in "high" mode produces noise (but this is easy, use high for short time, and after cold, choose "medium"). The corner of the table, near the brochures, is a little bit dusty. the table is long and narrow, which makes it difficult to use laptop. but all of them are not big problems. Too warm in the bar and reception areas. A bit more far away than I expected. Nothing. Not very close to centre. Location is ugly but close to the rail station. Room size small. Breakfast was expensive and very ordinary. It was optional and we choose not to try it again after our first experience. Failure to have any compassion for people whom were unable to travel due to a family incident therefore charging the cancelation fee. there was only one person in reception ad he was really slow. Breakfast not upto mark. They did not have a spare toaster when the existing one stopped working, they simply said sorry. 1. Breakfast food selection - not for a 4 star hotel, but rather 2 or 3. 2. Location of the hotel is pretty poor. The neighborhood is dirty and smelly and it doesn't seem very safe to be walking around alone late at night. 3. Taxi that I ordered from the hotel overcharged me by a lot for a 4 min ride. The hotel couldn't do anything about it.
