Fabulous Hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms spotless. In an excellent location 5 minutes walk from the Opera House, 5 minutes to main shopping area. We got excellent value as we were staying for more than 4 nights. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going for a break to the beautiful city of Budapest. Concierge service is great!!! We forgot some of our items in the room when leaving hotel and discovered it only on the train station. Hotel staff urgently arranged them and the driver delivered them to us to the train station some minutes before our train departure.

If I understood it correct, if we wanted to use the tv, we would havehad to pay extra? That was a surprise for us.the prices of food and drinks were quite high. Very small double rooms with no space to move or sit for two. Upon arrival, the hotel did not have a non-smoking double-room available as originally requested. Consequently we were forced to upgrade to a "smoking" junior suite at an extra EUR 60 per night cost (we had to bargain down from the extra EUR 80 they originally wanted). They were not very flexible in helping to find a solution to their error. No sign on the hotel from outside, difficult to recognize.No coffee making facility in the room. The food was horrible, the wireless internet did not worked as stated inyour advertisement. Worst of all the hotel is surrounded by prostitutesboth in the lobby, bars and outside at nighttime. They hassle the guestswith the approval of staff. The staff even give them free drinks andconverse with them as friends.not working internet connection. I asked several times for help but couldn't!. yes i found the staff rude and unprofessional.A visit to the four seasons for breakfast made me wish i had stayed there we were treated amazingly and it was worth every penny, its a pity i cant say the same for the kempenski. Poor ratio Price / Quality: basis of shover wall full of moisture, pool = only a kind of large and cold jakusi, room not clean up at 2PM and several phone calls needed to get somebody taking in account the issue, preparation of room for night made only one day among five (!), ... and 30 € needed by night for a dog (without any provided services).

ARRIVAL BY CAR:
From Vienna:
Take the motorway M1, continue in the direction of 'Erzsébet Híd', which is one of the main bridges between Buda and Pest. Immediately after crossing the river take the first street on the right and turn into 'Váci utca'; continue to the end of this very short street, where you can only turn left into 'Irányi utca'. Take the second turn on the left, 'Petőfi Sándor utca', and continue straight on until you come to 'Erzsébet tér', where you will see the hotel on the right hand side.
