  The hotel is nested in wonderful garden. Do not hesitate to choose the rooms with small garden in front, it is perfect for kids.   As a welcoming gesture there was a piece of homemade pie. The room was nice, big and very light. The bathroom has a nice size as well. All rooms come with seaview balcony or terrace. Just 10 minutes walk to Stalida downtown where you can find a lot of restaurants, shops, car rent, etc. The staff is very friendly, location is excellent with all rooms looking to the sea. There is a pier just 20 mtrs from your room where you can swim. Public beach is just 10 minutes by walk and it's true.   The apartment was very comfortable, well furnished and very clean, optimal in every detail. Ours was a short stay, we enjoyed the beach close to the apartment and did a few trips to Heraklion to visit its museums and Knossos. We did not rent a car as the bus stop is near the Hotel and service is very efficient (air-conditioned buses every 15 mins)... what people say » . Coming back from our daily tours it was very agreeable to sit in the comfortable chairs in the very well looked-after Mediterranean garden surroundi - Nice and spacious quiet place. Everyday cleaning.

  The Latania is not just a hotel, it is a home away from home. Incredible hospitality was displayed by all staff from the owner to the cleaners, this is truly a wonderful place to stay. It is also situated in a great location. I will definitely go back to this hotel again.   La Luna is a family run business and they treat you as one of the family. They are just great friendly people.   I was very happy to stay in this place.The location is fantastic,it is in front of the sea,in a quiet area,but only 5 minutes from the beach and the center of Stalis.The free parking area around the hotel and the local parking was very convenient The room was very clean and the sea view is so beautiful,you can sit all day on the balcony and enjo... what people say » y the world passing by.The owner is very friendly and ready to help you for any problem or question you have.We are going to come again here for summe - Diamond Beach is a very friendly , family run business , with superb sea views from every room. A smashing taverna is opposite and the glorious beach is a 5 minute stroll away. Nikos and his family are great and always there to help. We have been to Stallis for the last 5 yrs and stayed at Diamond Beach the last 2 ! Cant wait to go back.
