  We loved this hotel. Everything about it is amazing. The owners have literally built this hotel from several refurbished homes and have created an amazing oasis for weary travelers. The staff were so helpful and even offered us a ride to the airport when we ran into them, even though we weren't staying with them anymore. We weren't sure how it... what people say » would be when booking it, so stayed some place else at the other end of our trip after island hopping for a few days. I wish we had stayed here at b - Marianne was very friendly and helpful. She set us up with an excellent tour guide of Old Town Rhodes and Lindos. The studio apartment was beautifully furnished and charming. It was in a great location in the old Turkish quarter of the historical city center. It is within walking distance to all the sights to see in the city, but quiet at night to get a good night's rest. The garden and rooftop terrace were a small piece of paradise. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  The hotel is lovely from the outside, and has a great feel as you walk in. It's open clean and pleasant. The staff are very organized and friendly. Check in was easy and efficient. When I got to the floor of my room I could smell cleaning products and bleach, hosekeepers were cleaning and mopping everything in hallway and rooms. Breakfast was standard (and i have no problem with that) and taxi booked for me to get to the airport in time on check out, even thoug - Location is fantastic! Beach, shops and restaurants right around the corner! The staff was super! The lady in the reception was always helpful and did everything with a big smile on her face! The lobby bar was super, as well as the bartender! Rooms are big and clean, free air condition.Very good breakfast! We stayed there in October, so it was quiet, but I would think that in June-August it will be quite noisy, because the "Bar Street" is just around the corner.

  The owner and his family (his wife and his daughter) were very nice and helpful, especially the old gentleman and his wife. We are a family of 4 with two older teens. We had a two bedroom apartment and it worked very well for us. The rooms are large. There are 2 single beds in each of the bedrooms.   The pension is located within the walls at the top of the Old town of Rhodes. There is a wonderful view of the town from the roof restaurant, as well as a welcome breeze! Our room was clean and had everything we needed. There was a lovely shaded seating area on the ground floor with flowers and citrus trees. We got a great welcome from the owner ... what people say » and staff. It was ideal for strolling through the medieval streets and soaking up the atmosphere of such an important historic town. It is a short wal - Minos is in the Old Town and the location is excellent with great views and accessible by taxi for airport transfers. The pension is family run and we were welcomed by them all times. Meals , drinks and laundry are all available. Easy access to Old Town centre for meals and shopping. Larger rooms can be self catering but meals in town are better and more interesting. Minos is value for money.

  Breakfast was simply excellent, large variety of hot and cold items, nice lounge and lobby area. Room were very clean, perfect location right in the center but very quite at night! - The hotel has been undergoing major renovation to upgrade its star level and the lobby and entrance area are beautiful. They are doing an excellent job.

  Excellent staff: Tsampika is the best receptionist we have ever met, great location: the beach is approx. 5 min and also the town center is OK to reach it by walk (20min), nice café nearby: Finn café, well equipped and spacious rooms.   Spacy rooms- well equipped, convenient location. - I like an ecxellent work of the hotel staff, mostly a young man, who was very service mainded, polite and kind. The laydy on the front office was ok. But not as good as her colleague young man. But in general i was very glad to be there and to stay there for one week.

  We spent two full weeks in this hotel. After many years of experience with Greek tourism (and all its drawbacks) I must say that hospitality and efficiency of Philoxenia’s staff is amazing. We were treated like in real 5 star hotel. Don’t hesitate to ask for any kind of help from car hire, directions and maps, even sincere suggestions about places... what people say » to eat and how to avoid “tourist restaurants”. Rooms are cleaned every day except Sundays and every few days linen and towels were changed. If you co - The very friendly, helpful and competent reception. Even special wishes were fulfilled gladly and immediately! The newly renovated, always tidy clean room with an excellent and quiet air condition. Delicious favorable breakfast if desired. Very good Wi-Fi receipt even on the room and free of charge! Also, the hotel was at a central spot (so no busses were needed) and I could find anything easily (supermarkets, souvenir shops ecc.). A very close grocery store made it be easy to use the kitchenette extensively throughout my stay.

  The fact that it was so close to a good swimming beach that was not populated by umbrellas but rather it was the local Greek beach. The food in the area was authentic local reasonably priced with atmosphere. The room itself was fantastic and we loved the fridge. - Most friendly, kind and helpful people I've ever met.
