The owner and his family (his wife and his daughter) were very nice and helpful, especially the old gentleman and his wife. We are a family of 4 with two older teens. We had a two bedroom apartment and it worked very well for us. The rooms are large. There are 2 single beds in each of the bedrooms. The kitchen area is also large although we didn't have much of a need for it since we only stayed one night. The hotel has a large court yard that have grapevines for shades. all reviews » Very nice, clean, modern room with kitchenette, air condition, wifi, television and balcony. It was very close to the beach and a large supermarket within 2 minutes walk. It's relatively easy to orientate yourself from Old Town. As it is in a residential area it is quiet during the evenings and with space to park cars. Best of all however is that it's a friendly family owned business. We got so used to seeing Irene and her husband every day in the kitchen garden serving homemade food that the f. We booked a double room but it turned out to be an apartment. We had the whole living space to ourself, with bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. There is a supermarket just around the corner. So you can cook meals as you like. The location is a bit far from the new town night life but is the same short distance to the old town sights. It is also closest to the inter-lsland ferry port. By foot you can catch your ferry to other islands. The hotel has a good common space with a bar and pool table. The . We were travelling as 2 couples (one with a baby) and stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom aparment. It was very convenient and comfortable. The kitchen was fully-equipped and there was even a washing machine and a bathtub (a rarity in Greece!). The family running the hotel was very kind and gracious and provided us with a baby bed for our baby. It was a great deal and we liked the hotel's convenient location in a non-touristy area that was very close to both the ferry port and the old town. The staff were extremely helpful in our very short stay and really went out of their way to help our trip go smoothly. Maria was particularly helpful and friendly. The apartments are very well equipped and spacious even including a washing machine! The garden looked attractive with lemon trees. Good location for those using ferries to other islands with the apartments being within walking distance of the quay. Courtis and Irene and their family made us feel a part of the family as well. They were very helpful in all aspects of our stay. My husband was craving rabbit stifada, I on the other hand am vegetarian, Irene obliged us both and cooked a meal we will not forget! It was a wonderful ending of our six weeks in Greece. Hope you get to enjoy their energies. The hosts were excellent and extremely wonderful and friendly. They would point us in the right directions to our destinations and recommend particular interest spots be it if you're into historical monuments, beaches, budgeted food or partying. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. If you're looking for value for money, this is it. Very good value for money - nice and spacious appartment with two bedrooms and the kitchen is very good option specially for longer stays. We stayed only over night but still it was very convenient and with good price on top of that. Also the owner was very kind and helpful. It's not in the city center, but you can reach the Old Town in a 10 minutes walk; it's not a luxury hotel, but everything is ok, rooms are clean and... the most important! There didn't seem to be much taxi service at the ferry port. Or maybe we simply didn't look long enough, since everyone at the port told us to walk, instead of taking a taxi. If you were relying on using public transport to get around, took about 20 minutes walk to get to the bus station at Mandraki Harbour. Absolutely no problem if you hire a car though, which I would recommend doing anyway if you wanted to see more of Rhodes Island. Nothing! If we ever go back to Rhodes, we'll stay here. Not much. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and regret not staying longer. It would be nice if there was a shower curtain installed in the bathroom. If you must be in the very center of the city, you should maybe choose another place, BUT in a touristic place like Rhodes it's almost impossible to find such a quite place as Lefka Hotel. If a car is hired, you´ll have to park, and that´s impossible in the Old Town, so Lefka is a very good option. Our apartment did not have a living room, so we had to lounge in the bedrooms. The bathroom ceiling was also really low in our apartment, so not great if you are tall. Disinfestation should be improved. There was no light at the entrace to the apartment, we used a flashlight. Cold water in the morning. Small bathroom, tiny shower. Nothing. It was an excellent stay. staffs were so friendly and helpfull.
