  Great value for my money. Me and my girlfriend had a blast. All things considered this place was great. The massage parlor was the highlight of our trip.   The hotel is an ideal spot for people who like busy places but want to sleep in peace and quiet. It’s a few steps from the busiest street I have seen in Crete. The beach is near, but quite narrow and full of bars a restaurants and sun beds. If you want a nice and emptier beach, you must walk much further or use a car, e.g. to Malia beach. .   Nice resort, very comfortable with children, many different pools, beaches, playgrounds, activities for kids. Friendly staff, nice gardens.   Went back after 5 or even more years. Everything was as good as i expected. Especially i like the management decision to renew the hotel. It is really unspecific for Europe. A lot of activities and friendly staff. My 3 years old daughter especially liked the mini disco and mini aqua park. - The bars at the evenings are truly romantic and pleasant... what people say » , the dining room satisfied all our culinary needs and wishes.   Without a doubt, the staff. We really enjoyed the time we spent at Amazones due to the warmth of Dejan and Dmitri who looked after us.
