The hotel is an ideal spot for people who like busy places but want to sleep in peace and quiet. It’s a few steps from the busiest street I have seen in Crete. The beach is near, but quite narrow and full of bars a restaurants and sun beds. If you want a nice and emptier beach, you must walk much further or use a car, e.g. to Malia beach. . The two guys at the reception always find time to speak to you and help you with anything you might possibly need - really nice people. They gave us some gr.
all reviews » Everything was beyond our expectations . Theodore who works on the late shift is brilliant . Full of knowledge and so helpful . Location is on a side street which is quiet but only 50 meters from everything you could possibly need which is on time main road . Facilities brilliant too . If your booking your holiday independently then book your transfers from and to airport via Resort Hoppa . For the two of us , it only cost £20 return . That's right ! £5 each way per person . We enjoyed every second at LAFTRIES :) We were seven best friends and we felt like we were in the house of one of us. The owner and staff were above all imagination, charming, nice, professional, and made sure we did not miss anything. The rooms are clean and cleans every day, two balconies, air-conditioning, large rooms and a pool :) The most important thing to us is that at night we were able to sleep quietly. No doubt we will return there, not because of the free internet or central locat. It is the best of both worlds, the ambiance of nearby Hersonissos beach but in a quiet area. The staff was very helpful and gave us excellent advice for our visits. The appartment was large with a seperate room and 2 balconies. The building and the rooms are well maintained. Cleanliness was excellent. The beach is a 5 minute walk, yet the hotel is in a quiet area. The bed was a bit lumpy, but we got used to it and it did not bother our sleep. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Centrally located near the finest restaurants, clubs and a supermarket, the staff is very helpful, especially Theo who told us to go to the most beautiful beaches close Herssonisos.Apartamentul was very spacious, clean and linistit.For me and my husband was a successful holiday. On a general note, Lefteris Apartments is Kept to a high standard and is Certainly worth the rate. Of course, it doesn’t look like in the photos, it’s a bit worn out now, the mattresses could be better quality or have a softer thin mat on the top, the cookware is rather old and damaged, water taps in bathroom and kitchen desperately need changing, but it is ABSOLUTELY CLEAN, with THE BEST STAFF we have met.If you go, take some washing up liquid, dishcloth etc. and something against mosquito with you. Beds are a bit springy. Hard mattress. And the points, what is not the hotel's fault for sure, but what i did not really like - there are no playgrounds or smth. for small children around, only at Star beach water park on the opposite site of the city. Actually Hersonissos is not the best choice for families with small children at all. Mosquitos :(. Had no dishwashing liquid for washing dishes :). nothing. Internet was a little weak at times. Would have liked to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room particularly a kettle. Beds were a little uncomfortable, pillows lumpy. Beds were very hard, pillows small, towels could do with changing more often, massage treatment could have been better from the promotional spa. Swimming pool very cold and out of the sun for most of the day. The beds could be more comfortable. The bed was a bit hard for my taste, but that is very personal. Everything was perfect!!. Noisy drunken youths making late night noise. Paid extra to 'Pay Later'. When I came to pay I found that my card had already been debited. When I quiried this it was rectified but I was stung for the currency exchange commission. problem with hot water. The location itself has no proper beach, very tiny beach with black rocks. The apartments are getting old. The bed was coil bed so not good for your back, Ok if your staying for 1night. First night room was not properly cleaned, I was walking without flip flops and got my feet black with dust. AC only works in bedroom. No shades only yellow curtains so you wake up very early because of lights. Very dark room. 14-inch TV. Elevator gets stuck a lot and in addition always blame the guest and do not bother to fix the elevator. The pool is very dirty and very little is situated in the shade.
