Very nice staying with Mrs. Maria and we really enjoy Fira time!!!! Espacially Mrs. Maria and her family, Kiki Mr. Miko are super helpful. Perfect service and room was super clean, as a hospitality management sudent, the service quality like a 5-star hotel. 1. Our flight arrived Santorini at 20:00, it was windy day and quiet cold outside but Mr. Miko was already there waiting for us. Quickly present Fira city and drive us to Villa Rose. 2. all reviews » It's not a big or chain-like hotel -- quite the opposite. Every detail is carefully taken care and the treatment given by the owners is indeed special, making you feel like you're part of the family. Rooms are new and of very good quality. You can notice that they thought through all the details to make guests more comfortable and the stay more enjoyable. Location is good if you're planning to explore the island rather than staying in a single place. The villas are located centrally, very close. This was our favorite accommodation during our 3-week trip in Turkey and Greece. Nikos and Maria and their family were unbelievably welcoming and helpful. Our ferry arrived 4 hours late, and Nikos picked us up at 10:30 PM at the port. We were welcomed to the Villa Rose by Maria and their daughter, Kiki, who showed us to our room with a bowl of fresh fruit and a small pitcher of local wine. Well, this is the sentence that describes this hotel. It is a very nice, cosy, clean and comfortable hotel. It is very well located, 5 min walk to carrefour, 10 min walk to fira, 5 min walk to a very nice caldera view. Maria, Niko and Kiki (and also Kiki's boyfriend) are sooo helpful and kind people. The staff was incredibly friendly. We were kindly offered refreshments while we did our checkin. The staff helped us with getting a great rate on car rentals. The staff at Villa Rose worked really hard to make our time in Santorini very special. Vila Rose is a wonderful place to stay away from the busy town of Fira. It is a short walk to the town and the local bus stop is right outside the property. We have been to Santorini before and stayed in a $300. per night luxury hotel and never experienced the kind attention that we received at Villa Rose. This is obviously a family-run hotel, and we could tell they went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay--providing shuttles to/from the airport and port, reserving excursions for us, providing restaurant advice, etc. Very pleased with this place and would definitely stay again. The location is on a busy road so can be quite noisy with windows open. However, if you close the windows then the noise is properly kept out.
