Sunrise Hotel is five minutes walking away from the city center and from the Caldera. It is run by wonderful persons that made us feel like at home. The swimming pool is very nice. Rooms are absolutely ok and price we paid for our 7 nights in the Hotel was really lower than what one would expect from such an accommodation. We even received a very nice surprise for the last night. At the Hotel you can rent a vehicle and book guided tours to the volcano, hot springs (which really deserve a visit).
all reviews » The staff / owners went out of their way for us. Even arranging red roses and french champagne in the room as a special treat for my daughter from her boyfriend back home. The offer to pick us up from the port and also drop us at the airport was a wonderful help. Everything was perfect. The family is very nice, the room and bed very comfortable. Very clean. We had acces from the room to the swimming pool. very quiet hotel and good to rest. The owner drived us from port and took us bad to port again when we lived. Location near bus stop and city centre. Carrefour is few minutes away from the back of hotel. They picked us up from sea port and sent us to airport when we left. It is value for money. Great location, near to the bus stop and Fira town centre, friendly staff, clean rooms every day, free transport from and to the airport, clean pool. Nice staff, free pickup and drop off from port or airport. Close to bus station and central square, shopping and eating. It was great to be picked up and dropped back to the port. The hotel was only a short walk to town. Very nice owners, free pickup and return to ferry, nice pool, very close to town and bus station. staff very helpful rooms clean and nice view from balcony. We ate the same type of breakfast through out stay. Breakfast was the same every day, need to pay extra for the aircondition. No phone in the room. No elevator (but staff helps. The internet would only work in the reception. Rooms to street are very noisy. breakfast room and lounge were quite dark during the day. Nothing. Το δωμάτιο που μας έβαλαν ήταν πάνω στο δρόμο,με απίστευτη φασαρία από αυτοκίνητα,το μπαλκόνι είχε απλά μια πλαστική καρέκλα&τίποτα άλλο, οι πόρτες είχαν τρύπες από κλωτσιές,στους τοίχους οι σοβάδες έπεφταν&είχε εξωτερικούς σωλήνες παμπάλαιους&ήταν σκονισμένο!Οταν ζητήσαμε αλλαγή δωματίου&παραπονεθήκαμε, μόνο που δεν μας έβρισαν!!! Ήταν απαράδεκτοι!Με το ζόρι,2 μέρες μετά,μας άλλαξαν δωμάτιο&ήταν πιο ανθρώπινο,αλλά όχι καθαρό.Το πρωινό δεν τρωγότανε!Ο χώρος της πισίνας απίστευτα μικρός.
