The big room. Gentle staff.It is close to the center of town, with a good price. Good location.(Near the high street of Fira) Nice swimming pool.We booked two rooms, a double and a triple. The triple room wascharming, with a double bedroom, an ensuite bathroom and a twin roomwith kitchenette which would have made it easy to self-cater. Also itwas right next to the small swimming pool.

Attention: the column below is full, so here we are. You can never findthe hotel by yourself. But once you're familiar with the route maze,maybe you'll get to the mainsquare in 10 minutes. Location and pool. Not so quiet. Rooms near terrace are subject to rumors and voice of other customers. It is difficult to contact with the hotel in English, because no deputy staff is on reception. One thing we are really disappointed is we were sent to the worst room (funny shape and no balcony) and funny shaped room made my husband dizzy!! Staffs at the hotel are nice but don't speak English, so that breakfast time was not clear.I saw some people missed their breakfast even though it was 9:30. The double room, which one of us slept in only once, was by contrastdark, with only a small window, with a noisy fan just outside. Weabandoned it and both used the triple room. The pillows on the singlebeds were pretty uncomfortable, although those on the double bed werefine. The cleaning was a bit slapdash, with a dirty glass and ashtray onthe table next to the pool for 2 days.Its price and personnel. We were put in a room next to the lobby area, used continuously by thestaff/family/friends constantly talking in very raised voices. Withpaper thin walls this meant that we were kept up late and woken early.Room smelt strongly of chlorine but had wads of hair on the balcony.Breakfast was the worst I have ever had in a hotel. Very hard beds andonly twin room, not double as booked, available.breakfast was very poor, just bread, cheese and jam and ended at 10AM. Overall i think most things in Santorini are overpriced, though Villa Popi was a good option if you are looking for a budget hotel. There were two boys(one of whom is a child of the owners') playing inthe pool, after midnight! That's definitely unacceptable! When we wereabout to check out, it's staff was nowhere, so we had to wait for many,many "5 minutes, no problem". When I finally got my passport and paidthe rate, only 10 minutes left before the bus' departure. We ran, out ofbreathe. And the breakfast is aweful. Etc.Staff cant speak english well. The receptionist didnt order a taxi that we asked for, thus almost missed the ferry. Breakfast was poor, no choice. Noisy. Very basic hotel, only provided bar soap, no hairdryer. Should be rated 2 star, instead of 3.
