It's definite the best location for it's hotel as the shopping center (shops) are just below the hotel. It's so convenient for food, drinks, shopping, everything. There's also balcony for each room and the best thing is our room was on the top floor, me and my partner have set outside the balcony to wait for sunrise. It's such a beautiful view!! Really have a great time here. We are also able to see the view of Fira (market) from bottom to top of it. The design of the room make me feel like for.
all reviews » My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in November while travelling around Europe. We were picked up from the airport by one of the owners and were showed to our room on the rooftop (which had a great view!!) The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the centre of Fira, near many places to eat, the cable car and bus station. We had booked a double room which was very clean and one of the hotel staff told us all the necessary details of the room etc. The staff were incredibly helpful an. For the cost of this hotel every thing was great, we had been paying twice the amount and staying in some dodgy places so was nice to pay a good price for a great room, had all the facilities that you would expect, the view is not of the volcano and city side but you have a great view of the other ocean side. It is located right in the centre of Fira so you only have to walk down a few stairs and you are in the centre of town. There are clubs nearby so you can here the music but we were up the . The staffs there were nice and kind. The room was very very clean and comfortable. It had lovely furnitures and picture on the wall. The location of this hotel was very nice! It was at the heart of Fira Village, 2 minutes walk from the square, less than 10 minutes from the bus station and post office. My room was 109, in where you can see the sea directly from the window. I love this hotel very much! Strongly recommend!. The personnel was extremely friendly, always helpful in all aspects (even booking for us an atv, the boat to the volcano, adjectivally advising what to see, handling us a map and explaining things to see). The hotel is at the very very centre of the main city of Fira (where all the fun is). Price is quite low for Santorini standards. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would head for the same hotel even for a second time. 1. Hospitality of the staff. The staff were very friendly. We got a very warm welcome upon arrival. We always felt at home. 2. Airport shuttle. They picked us up and dropped us during departure. 3. Hotel's location. Fira's bus stand is just a 3 mins walk. You get restaurants, markets, bars, clubs, etc. everything in proximity. The cable car to Fira's old port is 5-6 mins walk from the hotel. located in the center of thira... very close to caldera and right next to the shopping center and loads of pubs and bars. very lively place on a remote island. room was comfortable and well maintained. Its a family run hotel so the staff were the owners of the property and very friendly and kind and really helpful. He even drove me to the airport on the way back which i wasn't expecting. The staff were execellent, ready to help at the drop of a hat. We had trouble with our ferry tickets and they gave up a lot of their time to help us work through the problem, call travel agencies, etc. The room was simple but large for the price we paid, free wifi (though the connection was up and down), and the location is right in the middle of everything in Fira. Best location for shopping and walking around the town since it is located in the center. Very close to the public parking area.Owners and staff were really kind and helpful. My wife accidentally locked my car with key inside but he help us calling to rent-a-car company in the late night even if we checked out in the morning. Everything was perfect for us. The hotel management or owner are excellent family. They provide all information and assistance. They went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. It is value for money, centrally located near bus station, hundreds of restiaurants and shops. Caldera view is a few feet away. The owner was kind enough to drive us to Athino port. It should be mentioned the hospitality of the staff, they are very close to the people and are able to help for everything. Less than five minutes from the bus terminal, and five minutes the other direction for the fantastic cliff-side views. Tons of shops, restaurants and bars in the area surrounding. The room itself was quite nice - spacious and nice design. There's a shared terrace outside you can chill out on. The beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Would highly recommend it. This place is in centre of Fira...close to shops, bus station that takes you to other part of Santorini. First timer visiting Santorini, this is the place to stay for all the convenient it has. The owner is friendly and could give some advice on places to visit. The triple bedroom was clean and complete with an electric kettle and a fridge. The hot shower worked well. Staff was helpful and provided shuttle services for free. It is right in the middle of the town, safe, accessible to almost everything you need. Loved our stay here! The owners Antonio and Angela were amazing and very accommodating. Despite being right in the center of Fira, it was still quiet for sleeping. the location is so good, just in the centre of Fira and just 3 min walk to the central bus station. the Staff is very nice and helpful, she made very good breakfast. The air-conditioner isn't working properly, as it was like switched off itself after a few hours - no cold air. The room then start getting hot and we have to switch off and switch on again. Also the hair-dryer isn't working in our room.. But these are minor things, as you have what with the price. Overall I would like to stay here again as the location and lovely staff, view of Fira :). We didn't have any big issues staying here but be warned that the beds are awfully uncomfortable (ours happened to be anyway) and I woke up early one morning due to the super hard mattress but when you're out and about during the day it's not a big problem. The other thing was that the shower curtain didn't touch the inside of the shower area and we would nearly flood the bathroom every time we showered. Nothing, everything was perfect. Nothing. We did not want to go back :(. breakfast was very basic. but its ok !! compared to the other excellent service :). The guest in our room previously had been smoking and left ash and cigarettes in the bedside table which wasn't cleaned. Staff fixed it straight away when mentioned though and offered a room upgrade (which I turned down because I was quite happy with the room already). Nothing to declare downside. Don't follow the letsbookhotel.com map! It is wrong! Google map it instead. The area might be a bit too busy for people looking for relax. There are several bars and nightclubs in the area and they play there music LOUD every night so not good for light sleepers. No view from the room itself (don't expect something like in the main picture - that's from one spot on the shared terrace). Nothing. Wifi was intermittent. Nothing!!. The photos are a bit misleading - reality didnt quite meet expectations. The bed was quite uncomfortable. Quite hard to find initially. I booked room with double bed but I got two single beds together. Yes, a little noisy. Hope you lucky to stay in a room with less noise. Look at sea but not really the cliff side. A bit noisy into the early hours but you are in the middle of town, have an evening nap and then go and join in the celebrations. 1, We actually sleeped in another hotel, not in tataki. Internet in room not accessible !. The hot water didn't stay hot all that long. plumbing always a problem, but that's Greece! As for the hotel, nothing I really disliked!. We ordered for a room with a jakuzzi, hotel staff made a mistake and first night we had to live in other room with a broken conditioning system, that was cheaper. No apology from the staff. That was not professional! Sounds from the clubs disturb to sleep. Nothing that we can think of. Bar nearby's noise sometimes penetrated the room. I felt the photos and description of the hotel were a bit misleading. We had a room overlooking the hotel courtyard, and could not see any view of the caldera, I was led to believe we would. The image from letsbookhotel.com is misleading. Booked a room with seaview but what I get is not even Aegean Sea view. Fira can be loud at night, too many pumping discos. Nothing. We had no one problem!. general location is good while not providing an excellent view / quality compared to my previous nights in Oia. The steps up to the hotel were quite steep but apart from that I was very happy with my stay. i missed flight, so i missed one night stay. Noise from the nightclub next door until 6am. We stayed in ground floor room 101 which was really too small for a triple. No room to walk. Room was clean but had strong smell of humidity. Fan in bathroom seemed to be broken and was very noisy. I would stay here again but would request a room on a higher floor like the one they show on the website as an example of a triple. Nevertheless, it was a good value. the curtain cannot prevent the sunshine from going into the room, so could not sleep in the morning since around 7:30.
