  This hotel is chic and very comfortable. The staff is accommodating andwarm. The gym is well equipped; we were disappointed we didn't have timefor the steam room and sauna! Check out the rooftop: there is a greatpool with a disappearing edge, extremely comfortable loungers, a fullbar, great service and plenty of tables. It was great to sit up there... what people say » atnight -- full view of the acropolis. - Rooms were well decorated, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was big and tasty. The staff was very accomodating. Overall, our stay was extremely enjoyable, and I highly recommend this hotel if you're willing to take a cab/public transit to the tourist attractions.

  I would recommend the stay in this hotel. We stayed there two times: at the beginning of the vacations when we started from Athens and at the end whenwe flew back home via Athens. There are a lot of advantages: 1). the location is very good, 5 min. walk from metro station, 2 stations from Acropolis, a very good supermarket 2 minutes walk 2). Bathroom is amazing with - It is a fantastic place!!! Great value for your money... the room was huuuuge and comfortable with everything you could need including the fully equipped kitchenette (and the jacuzzi :) )! It's near a huge street where you can pick up a cheap taxi to the center or even take the metro!!!! The staff is amazing, so friendly and very helpful for anything a traveler might need!The breakfast is huge and offers a variety of food even for the picky ones!!!Would definitely stay again when visiting Athen

  The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. It is about 2 blocks away from major public transportation (which is worth trying as the subways have become museums in their own right due to excavation finds in rec... what people say » ent years). Strolling through the plaka and vendor stalls, you will find yourself next to the ancient agora on one side and rows of tony restaurants - Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go
