Very nice hotel with a very professional ambiance. Helpfull and friendly English speaking people. Excellent buffet breakfast. Nice room with everything you expect from even a higher class hotel. 20 min. walk to the center of Athens. Shuttle service to the airport. A hotel we seriously recomment. Huge room, excellent facilities (really fast, free wired internet) - as a business traveler working a lot in the room, couldnt be happier.

Breakfast buffet is incredible. Location is a bit off the beaten track, not ideal for tourists. Distance to the nearest Metro station. Not a very interesting part of town--not many shops and restaurants. Very noisy crowds passing room in late evening. Breakfast is quite basic (hard bread only natural yoghurt). There was a lot of noise from the traffic outside, if the windows were open in the room. A little bit far away from the tourist sites - not within walking distance (or a rather long walk). The small elevator. position, it is not close to the downtown by walking. Breakfast, difficult to find the location. Better Buffet in the morning and more careful in the lunch. The area it was situated was not very nice. The mattress was hard and didn't have a mattress cover under the mattress sheet. And the hotel room safe didn't work properly. Sometimes it locked and sometimes it didn't. There was not a double bed it was 2 Single beds pushed together which was uncomfortable and dissapointing. The bathroom door did not shut but other than that it was fine but I got the room on Special for 99 Euro's I would not pay the full price which is over 350 Euro.room was not as in the photographs, water for bath and shower was too cold!!!!. Be careful, they tend to host weddings and conference so it can be noisy....especially with weddings!. small elevator, a lot of nosie during the night , the location is unknown for the taxi drivers. Location is poor (not next to a metro station, and near transvestites prostitution area), and lack of extra facilities, such as gym, pool (it's 35 degrees Grece, for goodness' sake), etc was felt for a 4 star accommodation.There was an alarm at 2 AM for half an hour. if i book a double i would like a double not 2 singles beside each other made up as single beds. Too far from Center and size of room was not as described, there was not a seperate living room, which is why I chose this hotel and it was described as being near the Center----it was over 2 miles from Center. 'Jacuzzi' is simply a bath with jets, obviously had not been cleanedfor awhile. Also the hotel is very far away from the centre and publictransport is not as accesible as the information on the site describes.We booked this partly to make use of the 'airport shuttle' but this isactually a transfer which costs 60 euros - this is not made clear onthe website!.

Information about the area

The hotel is located in the centre of Athens close to the historic Agios Sostis Church, within a friendly and quiet area 2 km outside the city centre alternate circulation zone. Approximately 300 metres away there is Agios Sostis Bus stop, in 500 meters the tram stop and in 1km the metro underground station Syngrou -Fix.

Using the bus or tram, you can visit Plaka, the oldest and most picturesque neighbourhood of Athens. After having explored the tourist shops, restaurants and taverns, you can head to the pedestrian walkway of Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, which starts from the junction of Amalia Avenue right across from the Temple of Olympian Zeus and reach the gates of the Acropolis.

The bus links will also enable you to reach the most popular Athenian beaches, the international airport and Piraeus port. There is also easy access to the museums, archaeological sites and all the areas of touristic interest.
