The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The room is clean and well equipped.The nearby S-bahn train station is under construction, so it's better and more convenient to take tram to the hotel. (From the main station you could take no. 16 and 17 which will stop just in front of the hotel. And the trams could take you to many tourist spots in Munich, very convenient!) Supermarket nearby, will definitely stay here again!.
all reviews » The apartment was great; clean, beds were comfy and since we stayed in an apartment we didn't have to worry about the cleaning lady coming to bother us. Free Wi-Fi, just called down and got the codes for our boys to use on their ipod and phone. The tram was right across the street which helped so much. And with the hot temps while we were there, the A/C came in handy. We would stay here again. Fastest check-in I ever had, it overall took about 1 minute till I get the key (more than half of that time WiFi password was prinring out). Rooms are modern and well furnished. Forget to mention that reception girl was looking like model!. This place is the place is the best of both worlds. The convenience of an apartment, so you don't always have to eat out, but with all the amenities of a hotel. Centrally located (close to the train station and tram stop right in front). Size of rooms is good comparing to other hotels in Munich. The level of clean is high. Private car parking available. The cost is reasonable. The staff is friendly. I'm unsure if they were employees, security, owners or what as they wore tradition middle eastern clothes and not uniforms. They never said a word to us and would stare my wife down from the moment we walked in the lobby until we left. Wifi was very slow. Nothing much around the hotel: you need to get the tram or the U-Bahn. I heard the traffic from the street that woke me up in the night, but I generally sleep light so may not be a problem for others. No room service (for extra charge!!). Room service only on request. Electric hotplates took forever to heat up, seemed difficult to use. The Breakfast quality was a little disapointing. Especisally the soft boliled eggs were hard as a rock. Also I didn't have wifi on the rooms, just cable connection for only one laptop, for the price I have paid I was waiting a lot more... - A lot of damaged furniture in the room - Broken kitchen sink (water all over) - noisy room although stated as 'sound proof' - DVD player didn't work - Internet via ethernet didn't work (reception gave me a WiFi code) - Bed made out of stone, very hard (if you have back problems, this hotel is a no-go) - Due to all negative points above, the price is way too high. Not that close to the S-Bahn. Poor internet coonection in the room No daily room service Breakfast buffet was overcrowded. The information centre in train station suggested us to walk as it's near but we walk for about 30 minutes. It's not the problem of hotel just the information centre. Price. Upon entering our room, it felt dingy, dirty and cramped. The sofabed looked dusty --in need of cleaning, the carpet was very old, and the furniture was cheap-looking. The beds were firm and the pillows flat. The hotel's location is several blocks from the Marienplatz, best travelled by tram. On top of this, the hotel charges for everything, breakfast, parking; and the parking garage is extremely cramped with weird right angle turns required...difficult to maneuver around. No restaurant in the hotel and nearby. No coffee machine for en suite kitchenette. Borderline comfort on pull out sofa bed.
