Super convenient way to position yourself for a very easy transition to the airport. Great staff and good, late-night eating options....even has an outdoor eating area looking over to the terminals that is oddly pleasant. Easy in to get your car to the very front of the hotel from the arrival lanes. Easy off load and check in parking. Easy to turn in rental cars after you just check in...just out the parking gae to the left, follow Ausfahrt...down the spiral ramp (a bit carefully)...Look for ar.

Everything you could ever need was right there for you Mp3 connections in rooms, free wifi, music/tv being played in the bathroom, toiletries, iron, hairdryer even an ice bicket and corkscrew! The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Just Amazing! The hotel is a small walk across the the car park and a short train ride from Hamberg central from the train station in the airport! Next time I go to Hamburg I will be staying at this hotel. Very convenient for Hamburg airport - easily accessible from the terminal and S-bahn station by lift and footbridge. Excellent service. Room on fifth floor, very comfortable and clean. The hotel does not offer parking at an acceptable rate and told us that we can only park the car at the short stay airport rate of 24€ per day. A real shame, as we had a hire car and then had to give it back because it was not worth keeping it parked there. I am sur the hotel has special arrangements with the airport for its staff, why not for guests?. Nothing. First night I was stuck with a smoking room. As a non-smoker I found it very difficult. They should have asked me at check-in. 24 euros for parking (please ask the employees for free parking in the neighbourhood!) Dissapointing low waterpressure shower.. free movies were promised but it turned out to be 10 euros anyway.... My wife and I always say do not eat in Hotel restaurants but this was the worst. The pizza dough was not properly backed. Last time the food was tasteless. The restaurant is very poor and food below standard. One waiter has his trousers down his buttocks and traileing along the ground. This is the second time I have seen him. He is not of a standard for this hotel. Drink service is slow of course he said "it is not my fault"!!!!!!. Location,for early travel from the airport it's good,otherwise would recommend hotel in town. There was NO clock in the room. Hamburg introduced a "Hamburg tax" - if you stay in Hamburg, they (the city, not the hotel) want you to pay an extra tax because Hamburg is so great.... But you can fill a stupid form so you don't have to pay it. Just another point that makes Hamburg less attractive. Nothing. temperature in room fluctuated greatly. air quality not great. Sauna area cramped-in, not really inviting to be used, open to gym area. Deco not really up to date, bit old. Nothing, it was all good.
