Once i got to the hotel, i never had to take public transport much again, as it is a 5 min walk to shops and the Koelmesse, which was where i went everyday for 4 days. The daily breakfast was very filling, and all you can eat! The staff (family hotel business) are all very friendly, and although i do not speak German, we could communicate. Very friendly staff - warm family-like atmosphere. Clean room (apartment). Nice quiet hotel. Close to railway station and Koelnmesse Center. Would stay here again!.
