Excellent hotel. It was in the best position possible for seeing Berlin, the staff could not have been more courteous or helpful and the rooms, bar, lobby, public loos' were all we could have wished for and more. Tip. Swipe your room card in the lift and it automatically selects you floor. The hotel was beautiful and felt very welcoming. The room was bright, clean and I loved the big bath! Breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect for getting around.

Food ran out early and was not replenished quickly.Price for breakfast, so we didn't use it. staff could do wih sense of humour. Wanted a double bed not 2 singles pushed together. The breakfast was fantastic but very expensive, for those who did not want to indulge in the champagne/sparkling wine etc that was on offer. Use of the Internet was also expensive.No free internet in the room. Breakfast not included, €19. The shower in the bathroom could be better.Staff rather impersonal. We booked a aprking spot, but the parking was full at our arrival and wehad to use the public parking. The centralised climat control; we did not managed to set a good temperature in the room as it was set up much to low. Every think was ok with me.There were 2 days (out of 10) that the room was not cleaned on time. Problem solved after calling the reception. Explanation was that part of the staff was ill on those days.
