Everything! Hotel staff was very kind, everyone spoke english great, they provided me with some very useful information about Berlin. Hotel location was excellent - everything was in the nearness, room was very comfortable, bed too, breakfast was very good with lots of choice... I really enjoyed staying there. The hotel was an old buildingconverted to a hotel. Showers were cold/hot a lot of the time ....But rooms were comfortable.Some furniture and construction of bathroom are (too) contrast to traditional guesthouse atmosphere by my opinion. Anyway it's a question of taste. Reception at 2-nd floor. No toiletries in bathroom so bring your own. Lobby and stairwell could do with a makeover, the carpeting and paintwork is old and worn, in a building that has an intrinsic beauty. Small additions would render large improvements: a little soap holder or shelf in the shower on which to put ones soap + shampoo, a "waste bin" on thebreakfast table for peels, yoghurt cups etc. No shampoo or soap available.There was no lift directly to the floor you need to go and no porters tohelp with the bags. There was also no air conditioning in the room andit gets a bit too hot in the room during the day. The hotel name outsideis a bit small so it can get a bit confusing because the hotel lookslike an apartment complex.There is alsono information on where thereception is (it's apparently on the 1st floor). The tv in the room was rather small, plus there were only two non-german channels.breakfast. Not enough choice - the fruit salad was not fresh, not enough fruit options. There was no air conditioner in our room.we had to ask for everything in the room like hair dryer,fridge etc. The bathroom built in the room and ikea furniture. I had to pay for a bed that I dind´t break!! and it was very expensive!! unbelievable!!. the rooms as they were 10 years behind the beds were disgusting there was no tea or coffee facilities as wa promised on the web site no mini bar towels were hard it was like spending the night in an old dirty council flat and i had 3 children with me who were bored.
