Cleanliness! It was so clean it (almost) hurt! The room was well-airconditioned, bathroom had an excellent shower (you know how often a lousy shower spoils it all), windows offered perfect sound protection from the street traffic... and the location was more than decent. All in all, exceeded my expectations. The staff were really helpful, giving us a map of the city and recommending places to eat, and letting us borrow a adapter plug to charge our phones. Would definatly reccomend this hotel, it's beautifully presented and the decor is amazing.

The only benefit was that is was near to savigny platz(u-bahnof), when Ispeak near I mean 10 minutes by walk. Kurfustendam S-bahnoff was closeddue to maintenance work. I think the room was a bit small. Breakfast too expensive. I think it would have been easier if the hotel had said what was the nearest U Bhan station ( Uhlandstr ). We were sorry there were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room but appreciate this a very British habit!. Food served in the restaurant was not worth its price. We had a double bed but had to use two single blankets. Only one non-German language tv channel.A little much traffic noise from the main-road. price for breakfast too high, often waiting long at lobby counter. No or hardly any parking facilities. No pool. Would have liked tea making facilities in the room.it was a bit expensive on FandB. very expensive breakfast. Wifi must be for free. Better breakfast. Bikes for free. The entire hotel needs to be thouroughly cleaned with clorox and furnitire polish. It is a great hotel and I only regret that the property needs to be cleaned from top to bottom to maintain its appeal.the carpet inside the room is old and dirty. We got a smoking room and requested non-smoking. This happened at other hotels where it was somewhat tolerable. The room couldnt be aired out, because there was an outside smoking area right outside of our window (maybe should place non-smokers by street). I woke up with my throat burning and the linens right by my nose were intense.Quite far from the train station. We booked a superior room through letsbookhotel.com, but got the smallest room on the 4th floor, as we asked the concierge about it, she told us that there only have superior rooms and executive rooms and then the suite, well fact is we paid for a superior and got a standard, so maybe you check this first when booking.It was a bit scruffy and "tired", and could do with updating. Although the hotel stated it had a restaurant, the menu was very restricted, and on the second night I ate there, some of the items were unavailable. A slightly more accurate description of the service provided on the booking website would have been welcome. I came at night just to sleep. It must have an internet at better prices (17 euro/hour ) firstly , andthen better prices at breakfast (16e /per person).
