The hotel is surprisingly posh, we didnt expect such a caliber when booking it. The staff is very polite, very helpful, and it is easily accessible through U-bahn and S-bahn. The hotel was excellent and if I understood right, opened just a couple weeks ago. I hope it will keep it´s high standard also in future.service provided by all of the staff was excellent; great value; great food.

Close to the City Center, with public transport --> Very interesting, because the closest station "Pankstrasse" belongs to a metro line which goes to Alexander Platz (from here, you can go everywhere afterwards). Friendly and helpful staff location is walking distance from Bornholmer Straße station when needing to head into the CBD only a few stops away! Most hotels have different pillows on request.The hotel's district is a bad reputed spot, but we have'nt had any bad experiences. So if you don't mind falafel buffets, nothing is disturbing. A little bit too far from public transport - 10 min walk to the nearest S/U-Bahn station.In general the staff is nice, apart from some particular case (very disappointing). Location was not best possible. Our room was quite hot.The elevator is extremely slow and the staircases are quite far away. Incase of an emergency when the lobby has to be reached quickly this isvery frustrating. Not always the water is hot. Elevator was very nopisy during night, construction was going on duringday, and hotel was a 7-minute walk from nearest S-Bahn stop. It was notin Berlin Mitte as the name would imply. S-bahn little bit too far. we were asked to pay 2,22 euros at check out for a mysterious reason.It is certainly not huge, but bizarre. No air-con. hotel was a bit out of the way. We stayed over christmas and there was very little open on christmas eve. We decided to order room service at the hotel. unfortunately, there were only 3 things available. there was no previous comunication advising that menu would be reduced. The plates weren't cleared away until late the following day.The floor in the room wasn't really clean. It was hard to open the window and get some fresh air. massive construction project underway. location is also very deceiving.Big reconstruction in the hotel is taking place. Even the reception is on reconstruction. We did check-out on 12 Nov. maneuvering between grease and painted papers and tubes of paint.
