I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Sixties apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet and well priced. It's located in the city center near public transportation and all the necessary amenities; such as, shops, restaurants and all the main city attractions – most of them are within walking distance. all reviews » Me and my friend stayed for 4 nights. It was really good place to stay, walking distance to shops and some tourist spots, transportation was so close. The staff was really helpful Alex, he even helped us to reserved a taxi going to tegel airport since we had esrly flight. He even gave us a quick introduction of the history. Good value of money, wifi was not all the time work, but it was fasr though. I will still choose this place next time i visit berlin. Overall....thumbs up. Everything was great. Accommodation of the best I have ever stayed. Very nice staff, very comfy bed, very good shower, the best location, fresh, total privacy. It is true that the furniture looks cheap, but the sofas and the bed are very comfortable, and the rooms are bright and spacious. Alex, the receptionist, is very friendly and gave us good tips on the map where to go and what to see. The apartment was spacious, clean, fully equipped, nicely furnished, with great view on the street with the TV Tower in the background. We liked the overall style of the rooms and enjoyed the american breakfast in the diner downstairs. And it's located just minutes away from almost every major sight in Berlin. alex, alex, and again...alex!!! he is the reason I would come back when in berlin again. he was there for every problem that came up, guided us exactly to the right places and was just charming. more over, the app was really nice, spacey and in a great location...right at the center!! During our stay the place was under a renovation, so the place was "under construction" but still functional. That kinda ruin the general image. The apartment was poorly equipped in the kitchen area (cutlery, pans, etc). No hairdryer in the room. In the price must provide breakfast at the "sixties meal" downstairs. nothing. Constructive criticism: A great shame and somewhat inconvenient that the reception desk is not manned on a schedule. Extra 30 Euros for cleaning the room. missing hairdryer :) However, we didn't need it so much - didn't ask at reception, maybe they can offer. Don´t was working internet. Being on the top floor. Was a killer, with no lift.. All the REAL nightlife are a bit far. All was good. One of the sofa beds were spoilt. shower was broken, no hallstand in the bathroom. Contacting reception is not that clear. Limited English and no clear button at the entrance to the building. In the kitchen- The oven, the electric kettle, some of the mugs were dirty. The reserve pillow was very dirty, In the building including the elevator: spider's webs on walls, stains on the floors. Very bad beds and mattress. Could be cleaner also. Bad Wi-fi, Dirt. Needs a facelift. Old inside. Internet connection was very unstable. Building, entrance and corridors are terrible. It makes you feel like if you were in a horror movie where you're about to get killed. Building was very dirty. WiFi was not available, although advertised as available on letsbookhotel.com. the racism of the owner.
