My wife and I recently stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better spot to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was larger than the place we live in normally(Quite a feat when staying in Europe). The place was nicely furnished, and we were amazed at how everything in the living room either reclined or transformed into something comfy to lounge on. The kitchen was fully stocked, and they even made sure we had detergent to use for the dishwash.
all reviews » Our appartment was right beside the train station but the sound levels were not bothersome at all when the windows were closed. We were 10 minutes walk from all the museums, television tower, main shopping centres, etc. also every day bar Sunday there was a market on the street just outside the front door where you could pick up all types of local and Turkish food stuffs and snacks. The appartment was located in a proper residential block so it was fully functioning and with a supermarket a min. The apartment was in an excellent location, within walking distance of the busy Alexanderplatz, Berliner Dom, and ddr Museum as well as many nearer bars, cafes and shops. It was close to the S-Bahn line which was very covenient though it meant a few rumbles when trains went past! Inside it was beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture, a kitchen with absolutely everything you could need, and electronics. The staff member we met, Sylvia, was welcoming and helpful, providing a map and loca. i don't know where to start. :) room was ready before check in hour (14:00) which was perfect for us. sylvia and the staff were awsome and very kind and helpfull. on our last day they kept our luggage from morning till evening the apartment is located in an axcellent area, right in the center of mitte district we loved how spacious the apartment was, and verry well aquippted! also, alot complained about the noise from the train station and we prepared ourselves for the worst, but as a matt. The apartment was adorable and extremely comfortable and clean. The couch and tv were top-notch. The bed and bathroom were big. The apartment was easy to find and within close walking distance to public transpo, Museum Island, and a variety of resturants. We loved sitting out on the balcony to enjoy a beer. Also there were added perks such as a tv in the bedroom and a big lift so we didn't have to lug our bags up three flights. Everything was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. We loved staying at this place. First of all the design of the apartment is fantastic, very smart and just very comfortable. The staff of the place is very friendly and will help you out in any situation like they did to us. We had an amazing price thanks to booking and the apartment's collaboration. Despite some issues with the cleaning fee, which were immediately resolved by the owner, we had all the best one can get for this money. Definitely is a must stay apartment. Don't go to the hotel, . Over the years, on family holidays, we have come to favour the apartment/villa over the hotel. This is a perfect example of why this is. Situated in the very heart of this vibrant city, with all the comforts of a luxury home, superclean, modern kitchen, bathroom, comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge. It is very well appointed, spacious, comfortable, and is in an excellent location being literally a stone's throw from Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station. It also has a great view of one of my favourite Berlin landmarks, the TV Tower. Absolutely top class. The location was great, the staff members helped us so much by showing a little bit around, keeping our bags a lot of time after the check out hours and basically smiling and being so nice. We have stayed in Berlin many times, while our home is in Munich. We love the Eastside and the Hackescher Markt Apartments are perfectly located. I could not give a better recommendation. I only wish is that we had 6 more friends with us, as the apartment could easily accommodate family and friends of 8 to 10. We will definitely stay here again. The apartment is quiet, nicely furnished and extremely clean; everything makes you feel like home. The neighborhood is lively, with shops and restaurants and supermarkets. Finally, the S-Bahn station is just outside the building's door, and all of Berlin is easily within reach. Would definitely stay there again!. I really shocked from the way it's rated in letsbookhotel.com as fabulous ! Check out time at 10 am ! And funny thing is I have to make two overseas calls to have the receptionist open the out. That brings me to the con's, which are few and minor. The bed was a little hard, but wifey and I are spoiled on that one, and there is extra padding in the closet. The shower leaked a bit because it doesn't fully close (interestingly we found this to be the case at 4 out of 5 places we stayed throughout Europe), but the bathtub was quite roomy. Finally, they only take cash and I never like having to carry more than a couple hundred dollars on me at a time, but that is what it is. Nothing except the hangover from drinking too much gluhwein in Alexanderplatz!. The only fault with the apartment was that the shower drain was a bit blocked. the 39 euro cleaning fee, no one cleans your apartment douring your stay i must say that the apartment wasn't as clean as i expected it to be when we got it i could still see other people's hair on the bathroom floor..and the sheets were probably after laundry but were a bit stained we didn't mind that much about these small things but it could've been nice to get a cleaner apartment ofcourse. I wish we had stayed longer!. nothing , all was perfect !!!. Nothing. It was perfect. Nothing. nothing. There are no Engl. The only thing possibly missing is a washing machine if staying longer. &Quot;Service charge" is being added to the shown full price. Nothing. Small and uncomfortable bed. Only if I have to be picky, weekends are very busy and there was some noise. Triple glazing was very effective tho' other than that I can't fault it!. None. Broken corkscrew almost caused panic! Replaced it for next visitors. Otherwise no problems. We had trouble finding the apartment as the market was on so we couldn't see the address. The office is even harder to find. Another apartment resident helped us out in the street. Cleaning charge and no iron. Not really a complaint, but more of a suggestion - could use a safety deposit box in the apartment. Cleaning was not apparent. You pay 39euro only for checking-out, there is not other cleaning service for this price. With this price in Greece or other countries you enjoy cleaning service & new sheets and towels everyday or a couple of days. everyday with new Also, internet wi-fi connection was available only at balcony. If you could choose an apartment with no street view, do it!. With all the great features it's a pity that the beds in the 'kids' bedroom are small and very soft. Trying to find apartment and office!. No instructions for washing machine and no provision for drying clothes. At least a clothes horse would be handy. Keys to doors made it difficult to open. bed was small. poor signage hardly notice. blanket & pillow not comfortable. wifi did not work. Cleaning fee. the price grow up 50€ for the check-in hour and clean stuffs (mandatory). Was not happy be told to pay for late check in and cleaning fee. But finally waved.
