I chose this hotel for the first time and I am surprised reading comments so false on the hotel. The staff is completed and so warm . The big room is clean and especially quiet. The dark stair case you had to walk up to get to the hotel if you didn't take the lift. littel bit expencive but that is France also!. In general, quite excellent especially the location. Not so important to remember. Having to ring the bell and wait for the Hotel keeper/concierge to let you in. Rooms were a bit plain, but I would not criticise the hotel for that, given the central location and relatively modest price.Abscense of room service. All facilities were on 3rd and 4th floors with a tiny lift: although not a problem to us this could have been mentioned on the site. Room was too warm to keep windows closed so noisy at night from the traffic.Some delays in receiving messages about incoming phone calls - but not in any way fatal. Not much choice at breakfast but if you eat bread and cereal you will not go hungry.The carpet needs a good cleaning. The bedspread had a stain that should be cleaned. Entry to hotel required being buzzed in - no direct access to sidewalk.While being in the room, you here everything what is happening at dining room (technically, poor sound isolation). Unclear instructions for using the gate at the street (worked fine after shown how to use). Really small-sized elevator (120kg/2persons). corridors outside the rooms messy. The rest of the rooms seems to be smaller then the one we had. In wintertime I can imagane that it gets chilly in the rooms.it was hot, but was very hot for paris. The staff were very nice at first, but became quite rude after a request about canelling a taxi ride.WIFI does not work in the room where I stayed but i was able to use the central service. Lift to small only fit for one person hotel on third floor ;also notmuch choice at breakfast. at the reception they were very friendly but the other personal there was never a simple "bonjour". the breakfast was adequate but could have been better and the lift was too small.
