My sister and I stayed here our last night in Paris. We were initially going to stay at a cheap hotel at the airport but decided to splurge and get a place near the Eiffel Tower. In retrospect, it was the perfect decision. We'll remember Paris as a magical place with stunning architecture, not a terrible view and vanilla 'could be anywhere in the world' hotel room at the airport. We reserved a 2 single bed deluxe room, Eiffel Tower view, and specially requested an awesome view. If you don't ask.
all reviews » The location was excellent and the staff in reception very helpful and friendly. The room was a great size, especially for Paris, with a large balcony and amazing view of the Eiffel tower. It was a little dated but no where near as bad as the reviews on trip adviser say it is. It was slightly annoying that we were woken at 9am each day, by a drill being used upstairs and had not hot water on one day - but to be fair we knew all of this in advance so did not complain. Plus it was 9am and we want. Although the rooms are a bit dated(and renovation is on going), the view of the deluxe rooms are magnificent.You either going to get a room facing the city buildings across the river or the magnificent Eiffel Tower.and it's more impressive at night. There's a metro station nearby (Bir-Hakeem) and RER station (Champ de Mars) and it'll take you less than 5 minutes walk to get there. Although the breakfast is a little bit pricey at €25 each, the spread and the view from the 10th floor restaurant . Great hotel!!!Really close to the metro, just around the corner. It's really close to the Eiffel Tower. The staff welcomed us warmly. No issues at all!! Great price make sure you book with breakfast included if not its 25 euro p. person! The view from the hotel restaurant, thats also where they serve their breakfast is on the 10 th floor and the view is incredible to the tower or over the city itself!Or you go to one of the brasseries on your right of the hotel they offer breakfast/ lunch/ dinn. Frankly speaking I enjoyed my stay in this hotel , it is going under extensive renovation , I did not hear any noise in my room ,I had 4 days holiday but did not use the hotel facilities , just for sleeping . Staff are very helpful , location is just perfect , proximity to Eiffel tower , a lot of restaurants around you and the sightseeing bus passes in front of hotel . overall it was lovely stay , do not forget it is under construction . Staff were excellent and always looking to assist. Very helpful allowing earlier check it and later departure made a huge difference allowing us to make the maximum of our time and not having to work around our train times and check in and check out times. Borrowed a umbrella and a plug adapter - the small things make the big differences. Great selection for breakfast. Great location. Thus hotel was absolutely amazing. The location was perfect for what we wanted, the price was excellent compared to others (unsure if this was because of the ongoing renovation), and the stay overall was just perfect! It is dated, but a much needed renovation is on the way. By Paris standards the rooms are quite spacious. The main attraction is the restaurant at the 10th floor where you can have breakfast with a stupendous view of the city. Not many hotels give you this. The breakfast is very good too. We liked the location to the Eifel Tower (had gorgeous view) The staff was excellent and very helpful from front desk to housekeeping. It was close to pubs and walking distance to many sites we wanted to see..close to Metro also! Our room was updated and beds were very comfortable...bathrooms were very nice too. - I paid for the eiffel tower view room on the first night and the garden view for the following 2 nights, we ended up being able to stay in the Eiffel tower view room for the 3 nights as a honeymoon gift ( and partially due to the renovations) _ the location is fabulous _ the renovation plans look great. Beds are comfortable, but we enjoyed the kingsize format. Balcony with the Eiffel tower view is excellent, and also the view of the seine. Parking under the hotel, although expensive, is great. Breakfast was included and good. Personnel was extra friendly, due to the renovation activities that take place. The cathode TV was from the mesolithicum. The construction is ongoing and a little annoying (soundwise) but we had excellent room with great view and only heard construction on way in/out of hotel. The restaurant was hard to get service in from bar area...asked for menu (they said we could order from there) and after about an hour we left when we were tired of waiting for service. Other than that we enjoyed The Pullman very much. _ the renovation plans look great, unfortunately they werent completed for our visit so we will need to stay again to experience the glass ceiling of the dining room. There is no lobby, the hotel is somewhat old fashioned, old tv, bad wifi, single glass, etc, etc. I would not recommend to pay the standard price untill the renovation is finalised. The hotel is undergoing renovations which we didn't really know about as we arrived on Saturday afternoon - but Monday morning as we were leaving, there was very loud banging and drilling. The interior corridors and bathrooms are a bit shabby and need up dating but when that is done, the hotel will be wonderful and in a fantastic position , only a few minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. Hotel staff could not be faulted though. The value for money is not very good, but that may be what is expected from Paris. Check-in time-out room was terrible. For two and a half days, the staff could not help me set up WI-FI. Absolutely nothing. It's being reconstructed at the moment,so it may cause some discomfort. construction noise. Before we arrived I was assured the air conditioning was working just fine, but in this particular room it was not. It rattled loudly and was not cold at all. Also the fridge is automated so if you take anything out, even just to move it, it is added to your bill. Understand renovations are going on and the hotel will defo benefit from it. At the moment, the hotel is undergoing full renovation. It's very dusty when you walk through the corridors. Other than this, our stay could have been perfect. Renovation is on going to upgrade the hotel throughout my stay, a bit messy on the outside but it did not impact on my rest and comfort in the room. Under renovation. Unable to get to the roof top because of the renovations :-( Was some noise during the day but not an issue because who stays in their hotel room all day when you are in Paris!!!. Took half an hour to get through to room service and order food. Free WIFI very slow & limited to 200MB per day. No cold air in the room during our stay. Hot & cold water for shower not easy to get the right temperature. Currently under renovation, noisy during day, limited facilities like no restaurant, lobby bar… but it was disclosed properly on the letsbookhotel.com. Air conditioning was weak, but staff did being us a fan, wifi was spotty but worked well enough to communicate for personal needs. Nothing - all was wonderful. The hotel was undergoing renovation so there was quite a bit of noise next room to me!! No internet in the room for the entire 4 day stay.... The bathroom lights were not the best for us while were putting on make-up or shaving. The lights in the ceiling should be about 6 to 10 inches closer to the mirror. The last morning we were there, a mouse ran out from the air conditioner, and then back behind it. The corridors on floors 9 and 10 are seriously in need of renovation. They are quite tatty. It was hot and there was no air conditioning in the room. Very hot. The hotel was being renovated and we didn't know about that. Much noise!!. All good. Uht milk in room, warm croissants at breakfast would be nice, cold pancakes. Scrambled egg to runny. More cutlery at breakfast, more than one spoon. Microwave would have been nice to heat up pastries, pancakes etc. Majour repairs. We had to reminde the front desk what we booked, a balcony with a view and this we got only after we pointed out that is what we booked. Also the hotel was under renovations, construction noises were evident and a bit disturbing. Unable to order room service as problem with phones. The construction noise and the carpet was dirty. None. Breakfast can be better. The hotel is still under refurbishment.
