The hotel is conveniently located about 100m from the train station Gare du Nord and has a luggage room. The receptionists were efficient and polite. Our triple room had a single bed separated from the double bed by a short hallway. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was great. closeness to station, excellent new rooms, cleaned daily, excellent breakfast, still had old charm of France i.e. spiral stair case. staff friendly, always someone on duty who spoke and understood english,.

Friendly informative staff, very close proximity to Gare De Nord, being given a room in their annexe next door (very modern, recently refurbishment - contemporary, comfortable and value for money).the location was excellent close to all main trains in wich you can get anywere around paris. It is very close to the Gare du Nord and, consequently, easily connected to the suburban transportation network as well as to the line for reaching CDG airport (the travel takes about 40 minutes). The recently refurbished room walls were bare and a picture (similar to the one behind reception desk?) the would be a nice addition.Internet access in the room would be nice, though a wireless service is available in the lobby. The hotel reception service was spotty. Hannah was the best as well as the overnight clerk but everyone else there was pretty medicore. Ventilation in the bathroom did not exist but I think that is just Paris.they could upgrade their lighting.. rooms on dark side. Room decor a bit dull and dark.Noisy location. If location near Gare du Nord is the good news, the bad news is that this hotel located on a somewhat busy street. This didn't bother us at all, but if you're looking for a quiet side street hotel, this isn't it.I don't like their bedspread. It has stain on it. the area around the hotel is not too good especially at night. rooms are very small and beds are a bit to short for taller people.Quite noisy in the morning as walls are thin (but fine at night). Breakfast was very crowded as everyone arrived at the same time and space was very limited.No fridge in our room. Rather noisy at times.Walls very thin .Could hear the people in the next room. The carpet was slightly dirty, but normal over time. small room. I asked for a wake up call but did not receive one. The front of the hotel should be given a face lift , and money certainly needs spending on the rooms. The beds were a bit hard so I did not sleep too well.Carpet in rooms have to be cleaned, filthy ,otherwise not bad for 2 star hotel. I suggest a taxi if you want come back late.The Hotel is very close to the red light district and the lift was tiny, never seen such a small lift before. Magneta is a very busy road and you get a lot of traffic noise.
