Very welcoming, Comfortable, very near to the Nord, excellent information and service 24h, lift to rooms, near to many shops and restaurants, metro, RER, buses. Highly recommended. ease of access for transport i.e close to Gard Nord station. Friendly staff that spoke English. Great friendly staff, always around to help! Food out for the taking, as well as dishes to use, and a corkscrew (we really needed that :P). Staff spoke French and English fluently, easy to understand in both languages. Cool vibe, clean rooms, nice bathroom and shower. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone! GREAT location! Right next to Gare du Nord, metro and train stations, we got everywhere we needed no problem! We felt totally safe, even with this being our first time staying in a hoste.

Could leave bag there on departure day which was gd as our flight didnt leave untill 6pm. excellent value for money hotel, long climb up 6 flights of stairs however(lift available,)and the widow was botched together. as it was high up this did not cause a problem.Convenient location. I clearly stated that I wanted a twin bedded room and I was given a room with a double bed. As it happened the person that was coming with me had to cancel his trip so it was no problem but if he had come to Paris then it would have caused a problem.the first night we didn't ask for the corkscrew :( had to open wine with pen, made big mess. cleaned it up, cause the rooms were too nice to mess up. we also didn't have roomates which was sweet except the last night, they were not sweet. but thats not smart place's fault. we love them!!! GO SMART PLACE!. Rooms seemed incredibly hot and lack of space if two sharing one room.a bit small. Hard to find because road appears straight on the map but isnt in real life. Rooms were small but perfect if like us you were using it as a base and not to spend any considerable time in. Other than that nothing wrong with the hotel Lots of homeless near station but never had any problems, however beggars which appeared organised and not homeless would come into McDonalds n ask for food.The radiator was too hot and the adjustment button is broken. The room does not have air-con which could be a disaster in summer. Room was a bit on the small side but big enough for the amount of time we spent in there. was no hairdryer.The rooms were small but this didn't affect us at all as it was only a room to sleep at night. Rooms that face the road are quite noisy. Shower very small - a large person would not be able to even get in. Room was too small.the decor. Bed mattress sagged to one side. The breakfast was not the best - poor selection. The room was. Absence of internet connection. rooms a bit old...though very clean!. Would benefit from some renovation. No English tv channels.The decor was looking pretty tired. The light in our bathroom didn't work. The street was noisy at night with sirens and vehicles, but I didn't mind the bustle of the busy city. The twin beds weren't the same, and so it was awkward, they were lumpy as well. I couldn't dial out on the phone for some reason, and would have liked to have had a hair dryer. Not sure if one could be provided on request as I never asked. No air conditioning, but I was still comfortable.1 hairdryer for almost 50 rooms. Be sure to bring your own hairdryer or if you take the hotel's one in the evening you'll be awaken by the phone ringing in the early morning. It will be the reception asking for the hairdryer as another guests need it. Awfull!. not in the nicest area of paris but good place if you are just looking for a bed to sleep in. Choice at breakfast couldbe much better. Our room on the 5th floor was small and a little too warm at night. it was written that there is hairdryer in the room but in fact that was not true. very loud cleaning staff. shower cabin too small. Rate per night was on the higher side for a self proclaimed 2 star hotel but everything in paris is expensive and overpriced. Room and bathroom very small. The TV was balanced on a stool on top of the desk as the TV wall bracket was broken. lights out of order, broken switches, had to ask for hairdryer, room rather tight for space. Breakfast.
