Central train station and tgv shuttle bus also within 10 min walk - very convenient if you plan to take day trips to other places. Outside festival time this is a very quite area of town - Lovely helpful staff in reception. Simple self service accommodation. Small kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, electric hob, microwave and fridge. Warm (our visit was during cold weather). Comfy bed. Local shops for groceries and meals. If you want service (we didn't) then don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, clean, simple, base for exploring Avignon and its environs for a few days it's secure, convenient and good value.

  Caza Sereyna itself is a beautiful place. Mme Colmas is welcoming and helpful. I felt as if I was staying in the home of a friend. My room was large and airy and had screens on the windows so no problems with mosquitoes. The breakfast was excellent with home made preserves.   Autour Du Paradis is indeed a little paradise tucked away in a narrow cobbled street and very central to everything, shops, food markets and the sights. We had the top floor apartment which was lovely, quite large and tastefully decorated with a view over the rooftops and courtyard. The central courtyard was an oasis of peace and although you are just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town you are well-insulated from the daily hubbub. The room we stayed in for 3 nights was charming- fabulous original art on the walls- and the kitchen-in a -cupboard was wonderfully well equipped. The shower was large and easy to use. The host was absolutely charming. In our room there were a couple of columns from the original monastery, which just added to the charm of the ambience. This place is a real gem!
