I found my room to be perfectly clean on arrival. Keep it up Omena! The supplied facilities were ideal, perhaps at least the addition of some plastic plates and cutlery would be great addition for a quick take away. I spent two nights here and would definitely use an Omena again. I rated poor staff only 'cos there are none! Traveller tip: write your pin code on your wrist!. Modern hotel with good facilities. As there's no reception, you'll receive a code on your mobile phone - I didn't have any problems with this. CCTV is used for safety. A help line is available, which I used and the issue in my room was sorted immediately.

Microwave is super for us coz we arrived late @ Tampere and we bought some microwave meals with us.Super. Excellent location surrounded by shops and restaurants. Although there is no reception counter, it provides enough safety. You must entry security code to get through all 3 doors: main entrance, floor door and room door. Clean and modern room. Soft bed.Tea and coffee included and fridge and microwave for quick bites or to keep drinks cold. Location in the heart of Tampere, yet not noisy at all (we had a room courtyard side). Great location on the Main Street close to all the bars and restaurants. (All of which are pricey by the way). Clean simple room with staff-less key code entry system. Works a treat. The location was great. Even though we didn't have room service, it was good to pick up clean towels on cart in halls. The ease of no keys and code felt secure and safe. It's rooms are a good size for 3 people and there was a butt shower beside the toilet which was fun. Everything worked as expected. The biggest plus is in it, that Omena is situated at the center of the city. It has good facilities and design. I will stay in it one more time. Thank you. The emergency phone at the entrance didn't work. Very un-personal. Not my style, but basically OK. The choice of TV channels! Fortunately the free wifi enabled me to access Netflix and BBC radio via my iPad. Heating didn't work properly. I guess it is being set up for its purpose. The courtyard is quite a depressing view and some office workers or neighboring rooms' guests can look inside if the curtains aren't closed. Room was stuffy - need to be able to open a room or have a ceiling fan. Refrigerator didn't cool AT ALL. We blew a fuse and couldn't get anyone to answer the hot line so we had a dark bathroom the last day. One of the bed toppers was so stained we refused to use it. We came to Tampere in Vappu night, which selebrate in night on 1 May, so city was very dirty and noisy. In hotel was the same too. There was many drunk people & a lot of rubbish everywhere. But in the next day all of these were cleaned well. My friends bag got left in the hotel and when he spoke with them it seemed that if he couldn't organize someone to pick it up they would throw it away rather than send it to him. too small room , just for 1 night. There were no staff around. no breakfast - no hotel restaurant. I couldnot watch TV. No stuff, difficulties with entering the room with a code. The floor wasn't quite clean. Temperature to low in the room. We could use our room not earlier then 16-00. Nothing bad. The shower head. Front door code. No replaced towels, no roommaid. Hair in bed. Not possible to adjust the air conditioned, soda distributor in the hall was almost empty. the bedclothes and towels were never replaced in a week (the reception said they change the bedcovers and the towels once every 5 days). Service is not present on the floor for any requests. There isn't any information booklets of the city in the chamber for any further needs. I didn't like the fact that there where no daily stuff to clean up your room and change towels. our room was not clean, this should be the first priority of every hotel. Problems with parking. As everyone says, microwave but no cutlery or crockery to use it with! No staff so couldn't rate this category. No reception. TV remote control didn't work (probably weak batteries). Cant open a window !.
