The hotel was located across the street from the Tampere Hall and just a short ten minute walk to the station and shops. The reception staff were friendly and efficient.The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and good size bathroom. A good hotel for the price!!. Clean room, comfortable bed. Air conditioning less noicy than in many other hotels. Breakfast Location = close to railway station.
all reviews » Overall cozyness and a relaxed atmospehere. Almost everything.. The room was very nice, clean, quiet and large, staff friendly and price okay. Staff were nice and the room was comfortable. Great shower!. Good sauna room. - TV. Service in the restaurant was very, very slow, even though we were the only ones in there apart from another couple.The waitress serving on the saturday night was as surly as they come! The room had a faint smell of drains now and then!!. On the second morning staff had difficulties in cleaning the tables of the breakfast room, so guest had to make room on the tables by moving dishes away to other tables. Labels on the foods could be more clear, some were missing. People smoking just outside main entrance of hotel - the hotel should apply a stricter non-smoking policy!!. A minor, missing couple or bondage, i.e. when one has an Italian(ish) menu, a guest expects that there is also Italian wine and avec available at the restaurant/bar. For me it was a bit difficult to get up from the bed, maybe it was too soft and had nothing to grab and pull up from the bed.I was hoping to enjoy Finnish sauna on my last two nights, but the sauna was taken over by young ice hockey teams, the whirlpool full of partying lads, and sauna inaccessible. What a pity. Staff informed me on hotel guest hours but even in those hours the sauna was full of party folks, and we found that a bit scary for a class hotel. But apart from that, rooms were fine. Bar was very expensive nearly 14 euro's for two pints of lager that were only 3/4 filled. Room too small, extra bed is uncomfortable. Altough we have booked a double bed, they offered seperate 2 beds claiming letsbookhotel.com wouldn't pass that information. - Bathroom accessible by unlockable door/closet - no lights in the shower - breakfast wasn't included to the price, but was promised to be given for free after joining their bonus club. We only got one ticket though so we ended up skipping the whole thing. - after sleeping a night in the bed I got back pains for the next two weeks - paper tissue boxes in the bathroom were both empty.
