We just stayed one night as we had a flight next day & raffles is literally across the road from the airport. Despite this we heard little/no noise from the airport. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, nice pool area with lovely gardens. The restaurant food was also quite good & well priced & the breakfast fine. Very good value - would stay again. We loved staying at Raffles Gateway. It was our first trip to Nadi and the staff there made our stay there extra special with their warm hospitality and excellent customer services. Thank you to all the staff there at Raffles Gateway for giving us the best holiday ever and for all your beautiful smiles. Bula Vinaka Vaka Levu! God Bless :).
all reviews » Regular free shuttle from/to the airport. Front desk service was quick and friendly. Room clean. Booked in around 8am at no extra cost. Tasty dinner with live music. The hotel is very close to the airport but we heard NO noise at all from planes. Local bus to Nadi outside hotel. We did not use the pools but they looked clean. Location is perfect, only 300m from the airport arrivals/departures ! Ideal for a stopover, or short stay to explore the region. On the pickup route for Awesome Adventures 'Flyer' cat'n sailings to Yasawa Islands. Staff very helpful, room immaculately clean, menu and food quality very good. Highly recommended. Loved our stay. And we were lucky to be upgraded upon check in! The staff is very nice, the food is really tasty and the pools looked great (didn't get a chance to use them). There are pools tables and a souvenir shop as well. Very close to the aiport (walking distance) and they provide a free shuttle!. This was our 4th stay at Raffles and once again the service, location and value for money are second to none. The staff in particularly are one of the reasons we keep coming back. Grounds and common areas nicely kept and room decor is great. Pool area is nice and clean. I have stayed at Raffles many times over the years. It is ideal for one or two nights before or after a trip to the more distant islands and resorts. The staff members are friendly and helpful and the accommodation is very well priced. The food is excellent, my compliments to the Chef, the Porters are very friendly and professional, the restaurant staff are the friendliest and best in conduct. Kava is the national drink, facilities should be made available to the guests to sit, as they say, around the grog bowl. rooms facing the airport do get a bit of noise from planes, so if you need to stay close to the airport keep this in mind. Having to pay for wifi with poor reception. very dim lights in the room. I always want to extend my stay because it is so relaxing ! Hate to leave !!. I think that the pickup of guests from the airport could be more coordinated. Inbound and outbound this time we walked to the hotel (3/4 mins only) because the vehicle to pick customers up did not arrive. The not so clear explanation of the availablity of a dayroom on their website via letsbookhotel.com Then the no-show email when we had actually checked in but not in the not so clear definition of the timeframe. I am very sensitive to smells and could smell cigarette smoke permeated in the area around the bed even though the room is non smoking. The lighting was a bit dull. Wifi prices are weird. $9 for fifteen minutes, $20 for 24 hours. It should be free. no complaints. No hot water on this occasion WIFi expensive. The hotel is out-dated. The spa pool was cold, we expected it to be heated. Ground floor room was noisy from people walking around the courtyard outside it. no complain. Wifi should be free. All good. The waiting time for meals was not acceptable. The room we stayed in was mozzie ridden and no spray available in room to rid same. Staff and tourist desk were not familiar with local attractions.. nothing. nothing. Internet was expensive. Paid for 1 day and had internet for about an hour. It was a real pain. Room lighting. Breakfast buffet was poor not much selection. Pricing equivalent to Australian prices. Reception and restaurant staff were very average. Late pickup by shuttle on 12 october also booked single bed but got sofa bed. Staff wasnt very friendly.. It took them 10min to bring me beer in th can(!!).. And there were 3 guets in the bar and 4 staff people at the bar. booked room for family. there was no hot water. complained twice and both times we were told it was fixed but still there was no hot water. ended up having cold shower. complained to staff at reception and they just nodded thier heads, no aplogies or any other offers to accomodate for the unpleasant experience.
