This is the best hostel I've ever been too! Location is perfect - it takes 20 minutes by foot to reach central railway station, but it's Copenhagen, so there's more cyclists than everywhere in the world (exept from Amsterdam ofc). What is more, you see a beautiful church when you leave hostel. Staff is very friendly, there are a lot of young people all over the world, so it's very easy to meet new friends :) hostel desigh is very nice and cute, especially walls decorated with sheeps images :D.
all reviews » I booked the upgrades room which wasn't that much more but definitely worth it. The room was big, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were good. The staff were friendly, the drinks were cheap (for Copenhagen) and so was the hostel. I would stay again. The location is good,just about 10 minitues to Metro.The decorations are lovely as well.Following those "sheeps" you can find your accomadation!The share batherooms are roomy and convienient!. The location of the hostel and the price allows to enjoy Copenhagen for a fair price. The hostel has a bar, a nice living room, and the staff is nice and efficient. I loved the staff, opportunities and the menu! Things were relatively cheaper than the other bars and stuff. And there is a happy hour between 18-19! Don't miss :). Friendly staff, nice location. Good value for the money. Nice and simple rooms that where clean. I would definately recomend to others, and I would come back. The suggestions of good, cheap places to eat & what to do in town. The staff were really friendly. I liked having my own changing area after the shower. The staff is incredibly friendly and everyone is a valuable source of information about the city. Location was kind of trouble since it's relatively far. At first we thought the location was a bit scary, but afterwards we felt more safe in the neighboorhood. It was very private so if you want to meet more with other backpackers this is not really the place for that. I didn't like not having a kitchen to prepare any food. It was also noisy with people in the hall & being able to hear every door shut. Sound insulation isn't very good, but ear plugs help a lot!. There is nothing I can complain about =). copenhagen is expensive. Could those paper plates and mugs(at breakfast) be recycled?. It's really really distance from the city center!. The web description is inaccuate. It is described as a youth hostel but does not say they actively don't want clients over 45. One page says they have family rooms, another page says no childen allowed. In fact they encourage partying till late (the bar shuts at 2am). Fine if that's what you like, though it was noticeable most clients were trying to sleep well before then. As oldies we enjoyed it for one night, but longer would not have been a good idea!. no kitchen. Slightly far from City Center, but for this Price (especially for Copenhagen) it is ok)). I had to sleep in a busy dorm for budget reasons, but it's more of a matter of taste (and possibly age). A kind of really over exaggerated on the website..hehe. Seperate dorm room building. no wifi in the room while I stay, it's not convenient. Location is a bit further away from the tourist attractions. Close to the public transit nonetheless. 3 floor-bed. Problems with showers. No refrigerator :( Sad part.... location. A kitchen would've been amazing, but it wasn't the end of the world that it didn't have one. I was in a 12 bed dorm and didn't have a powerpoint on the top bunk which made charging my phone difficult. Just, you know, it's a hostel so 6 bunk beds, 6 people in one room, just a bit weird, but you get what you pay for. to me it was a bit uncomfortable with the three-storeyed beds in the dormitory room if there are self-catering kitchen, that would be good. if there could be more hooks in the bathroom, that would show the hostel is more considerate. the staff are recommended to check the water temperture in the bathroom cos it really varies a lot. the location is a little bit far from the city centre(20-30min walk). Too far from the main tourist attractions Area seemed a little dingy Hostel was in pretty shabby shape, small rooms peeling paint. The bed is not very comfortable. The soundproof is not quite good. NO KITCHEN?!?!! or any appliances like a microwave at least only 3 restrooms beds were extremely dirty. i found hairs on my given sheets/the bed itself was stained. breakfast was too expensive. We were not aloud to stay more than one night beause we were to old. We had booked for 4 nights. Neither of us had seen that there was an agelimit for the hostal. It was of course a misstake. It would be better if you asked for the age or birthyear for the booking so this dont happen again. We were stressed when we hadn´t any place to go the following morning. It was fullbooked everywhere. At last the staff did find a hotel not far from Sleep i Heaven. That we were very happy about!. no wifi in the room. I couldn't use wifi in the room, except in the lobby. Loud music until past 2am Not enough bathrooms. I didn't liked the room.very small and with too much bed fr the room. I didn't like the absence of a kitchen and the check in because you cannot enter before of 2 p.m. I didn't like the high price for tea, coffee and other thing inside the hostel, for my opinio was been price for an hotel and not for an hostel. one staff at the reception was arrogant, rooms were noisy (hallway, gate outside, other people), shower did stink & was dirty, the toilets (man&woman) did not work properly, the "cheap" rental bikes were more expensive than other ones you could get in CPH and not available at 10 am even we booked one day ahead, no towels (ok it's a youth hostel but for this price!), luggage storage was dirty and had creepy animals flying around. We wanted to rent a bike from the hostel, but they didn't have enough. Also they written in the webpage that just people between 17 and 35 are allowed but in our room slept also a old man over 35 and he was snorring the whole night. Not enough showers. The beds were the worst of any hostel I've been in, it was extremely cold in the room. The hostel itself always had rather loud music playing, which you could hear from the room. There was also a party outside our hostel one night, which was extremely loud. Three showers for that many people in a hostel are not enough facilities, by far.
