It is a friendly comfortable Hotel in a pleasant location. It represented pretty good value for money.Good location and modern rooms. the breakfast, pricey but good. The room was nice. It is a spacious hotel with a comfortable and welcoming lobby. The bedlinen and duvets were of extremely high quality.my room was a bit too small - it was a single room. For a 4 star hotelthe floor was quit dusty.towels were worn out; noisy court yard. phone broken, poor wake up calls,not enough good gym equipment. Breakfast now no longer included in the room rate. Extremely expensive. There were insufficient information regarding hotel facilities. Room was absolutely not cleaned properly. We tested it on day two and left an empty can on the table, a spoon on the floor and a towel beside the bath. When we came back at the end of the day everything was exactly as we left it. A little more effort to tidy the room might be expected for the (high) price you pay for this hotel.The hotel is a little dated and the rooms and some of the facilities and fixtures and fittings really do need updating to modern standards. Room a little small. rooms very small, complicated parking. The cleaning was very bad - I had a children with me and it was not nice to come to the room at the end of the day and have no cleaning. The only thing that was done was that the bed was made.Lots. Staff were distant and detached. Room service abysmal. The only suggestion which could be made by the hotel for New Year's Day activities was extensive outdoor walking (our party included two elderly ladies!). They could not even tell us of restaurants which would be open for lunch. The daily cleaning of the room was absolutely minimal. Service generally very poor. No cleanliness of my room - I stay for 2 days no cleaning lady - nothingfrom the manager to give us something like options or benefits , so muchmoney , no cleaning.
